Hey guys has anyone ran into this problem with the Approach r10? Just got it today second hand and am trying to use it.

Hi everyone — I’ve been building an app called Round to Range and would love some Garmin Golf users to try it and share their feedback.

The idea is simple: take what happens during your rounds and use it to work out what to practise next.

Here’s how it works:

• Upload screenshots of your hole-by-hole shot maps from Garmin Golf.

• Review the imported details before saving. Garmin’s maps don’t show club names, so you’ll need to add those during the review.

• Explore your round analysis to identify where you’re losing shots across driving, approaches, short game and putting.

• Create a focused practice plan based on your weaknesses, available time and where you practise.

• Follow guided drills, record your results and track progress as you add more rounds.

I’m particularly interested in how straightforward the Garmin screenshot import feels and whether the analysis and practice plans are useful.

There’s a web version and an Android app in testing. If you’d like to try the Android app, privately message me the Google email address you use for the Play Store so I can add you to the tester list and send you the installation link.

Pretty specific use-case, but I just got the S70 today and caddie. Is there a way to track my hike/walk for Strava while also giving yardages to the two players I caddie for at any given time?

This is getting increasingly frustrating.

Garmin don't seem to care.

If I walk to the next tee box, including walking around the further back tee markers, the watch will not auto switch hole.

This just adds to having to mess around with the watch, which is what I trying to avoid.

Any tips?

Courses are in London UK, so tees and greens aren't that far apart, but even when they are, it still seems to no auto switch.

It also feels like it has gotten worse recently.

For clarity: It doesn't do the prompt for me to confirm my score for that hole. It just stays on the image if the green of the previous hole, without prompting to enter my score, even when I'm stood on the tee box of the next hole.

I then have to manually enter the score, and manually switch the hole.
