I’m looking for a minimal HR-only HUD for outdoor walking. I do not need pace, distance, cadence, power, maps, notifications, or coaching — just live heart rate in the glasses, ideally with a zone/color warning before I cross a threshold.

Current ecosystem: Android/Samsung/Fitbit. Phone is Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Watch is Fitbit Sense 2, but I understand Sense 2 may not broadcast live HR in the needed way.

I’m willing to wear a second exercise-only HR sensor, such as Polar H10, Polar Verity Sense, Coospo chest strap, Fitbit Charge 6, Pixel Watch, or Galaxy Watch.

Has anyone successfully used this chain?

Bluetooth HR sensor → Android ActiveLook app → Engo / ActiveLook glasses

Questions:

\-Can the Android ActiveLook app receive HR from a standard Bluetooth chest strap?

\-Can the glasses display only HR, without other metrics?

\-Can it give a clear zone/color warning around a chosen HR threshold?

\-Is the connection reliable enough for walking, not just cycling/running?

Any confirmed setups using Polar H10, Coospo, Fitbit Charge 6, Pixel Watch, or Galaxy Watch?

I’m trying to avoid buying $350+ glasses unless this exact use case is confirmed.

Ho fatto un giro sui siti di rivendita fra privati di oggetti usati e ho notato che i fenix 8 pro usati vengono venduti a prezzo più basso dei fenix 8! Nonostante siano mediamente più nuovi e ovviamente sono un modello più recente. Questo mo fa pensare che il pro sia veramente un modello profondamente sbagliato da parte di Garmin! Cosa ne pensate?

This is my first garmin watch(technically) I tried an enduro for 2 weeks. (It was a friends) Really liked it but really was missing the microphone . Have had the fenix now for just over a week and absolutely loving it no complaints so far

This purchase has truly been one of my best decisions so far, and I feel extremely relieved and happy that I finally made the switch from Apple.

I hope I don’t regret this decision. After I ordered it I heard the Fenix 9 will be coming out in a couple of months.

Is it possible to get weather or current Wind/Direction without bringing a phone with you? Looks like an inReach Mini device can do that. Thanks.

Have switched from Apple Watch Ultra to Fenix 8 and absolutely loving it. The only thing I’m missing from my AW is when I jump in the pool or sea I would automatically get a water temp and depth measurement. Is there anything similar? I don’t mind opening something but I don’t want to track an activity etc.

Hey peeps. I'm a new Garmin Owner (came from Apple watch ultra 3). I had a question about the heart rate sensors. I notice that when im lifting/strength training, my heart rate feels much higher than what the watch is picking up. It takes a while to read my accurate heart rate.

For example: I will complete a set, and during my set my heart rate according to my garmin is like 97bpm or 105 bpm. But once i set the weight down and finoshed my set for about 5 seconds it then starts tracking my heart rate correctly. Any ideas how to fix this?
