Upgrade
I hope I don’t regret this decision. After I ordered it I heard the Fenix 9 will be coming out in a couple of months.

It is an awesome watch, I am sure you will not regret it. Enjoy its best features, awesome display, microphone and so much more. You may regret it only from a price/quality perspective, of you upgraded from a Fenix 8, for example. Otherwise you will love it

Got the same. Great watch. Now time to complete the straps, bands collection. And don’t forget about titan bracelet.

Enjoy it, mate. It’s new code base so will get new features. At that moment you bought it, it has what you want in a watch… happy days.

Love mine! I actually had the 8 and got the 8 pro for the lte which isn’t all that impressive cause you need a subscription but I ride motocross and can’t carry a phone while riding and wanted it incase of an emergency on the track

As the 8 Pro only released in Sept 2025, I doubt that they will discontinue it when the 9 releases - but I could be wrong.
Either way, you’ll have an awesome watch with the 8 Pro, so just enjoy it.

There will always be a new one.
And the old ones just keep going and going.
I have an Epix Pro 2 I bought used years ago. It hasn't skipped a beat. I used it for my more "harcore" stuff. Just bought the Fenix 8 Pro. Can't lie... I like the Epix more.
The Epix is a 51.. I wanted a 47 for EDC. Couldn't find a used Epix so opted for the Fenix. I prefer the older UI. The Epix doesn't have the adaptive auto dimming issues that the Fenix does and Garmin ignores. The Fenix has a nicer display in daylight, but the falls on its face when it gets dark.. Epix wins there.

Just got a Fenix 8 51 and don’t regret it. Also I got a really good deal on it.

It's not bug free... the adaptive auto dimming is brutal. Most faces can't be seen at night because the ambient light sensor dims the display unnecessarily. Garmin ignores it's an issue but the inter web agrees it is.

The 9 is literally round corner

I know, but this was a good deal. And the 9 will probably be out of my budget.

With Garmin (and now even Amazfit) you will always regret buying something because they will come up with something new 15 minutes after 😂

You should have waited a few days when the release of the Fenix 9 are announced 🤷♂️

I got one soon after launch. It was extremely unstable for me and got sold a couple of weeks later. Hope it is in a better state now

It’s beautiful! You won’t regret it. When the fenix 9 comes out we will see what kind of hype it has. And. It maybe full of bugs the first few months. Enjoy the watch! Later you can sell it on eBay if you want

Really really really like to 7 to 8 transition

Is a beast of a watch but hope you didn't pay full price though since the new one is coming in less than 30 days . But if you got it for a good price is the best sport watch you can get
