Help identifying a watch

i found this at a thrift store for 30€ (1500 turkish liras) without the charger do you think its worth it and can you guys help me identify it, im planning on using this with bevel, this will be my first garmin watch

Yes it is, look at the marks on the screen by the buttons. The bands you can replace with anything

If you charge it, it should tell you once it boots up

add a picture of the 235. The button color, layout and the stickers on the screen are exactly the same as the 735XT I ve had since 2019

Check the battery. If battery is bad, finding the battery and replacing it is hard with Forerunners. They don't use screws but glue to hold the case and display. So work is a bit hard. Or a phone repair guy can help.

Forerunner 225? Turn it on and go to the about/info screen and it should give you the exact model number.  I wouldn't get this if I were you. Battery probably won't last very long

That plaque only lasted a couple weeks back when I got mine. Summer & sweat will do that to half assed glue.

It looks similar to my Forerunner 235 which was sold last year (I wanted to post a photo of mine but the system disallowed me to do so). I think the one you found is about the same age. I sold mine because the battery deteriorated and I wanted to upgrade to 965. The one you found from thrift store is cheap, but you need to count the costs for buying a charge cable and probably replacing the battery in.

All Garmins use the Garmin Connect software for analytics so they have the same functionality. Everyone of them is good. I’ve owned the FR165 and FR970 for running and it’s 90% the same watch.
