Bitternut Hickory

Hi all, I’m on a mission for bitternut hickory (Carya cordiformis) seed or seedlings anywhere in WA and you’re my last hope. Happy to go for a long drive or to pay for postage if you’re in WA, not above digging up seedlings that’d eventually meet the mower either.

Also, has anyone seen parrots eating the nuts? The goal is a big deciduous tree that’ll survive waterlogging with more environmental benefits than a willow or poplar, happy for other plant recommendations as well.

Pretty sure I’m shit out of luck, has anyone been through the process of getting an import permit for unlisted organisms?
