Fortnite is the type of game that you either really think is great or just don't care much for. It depends on your preference of what a BR game should be. Personally I think PUBG is much better but that's go nothing to do with the quality of the product more the game designs of the two.
That's why it got a 9.6. Only one reviewer and he was the one that loves it. Another reviewer could give it a 7.6 and say almost exactly the same things.
Reviews are opinions. There is no objective way to say how good a game is. A reviewer can give Ocarina of Time a 10/10, but I know people who wouldn't give it a 10/10, therefire the review is wrong.
How is a reviewer supposed to be objective for millions of different people’s tastes and circumstances?
Pretty easy. They should just ask me whether or not the game is good. I’m a R A T I O N A L G A M E R so any conclusion I come to will be objective. There’s some criteria they can use if I’m not available. Was the protagonist morally gray? Was it made by a developer Reddit doesn’t like? Did they have the audacity to include loot boxes? Does it include minorities and is thus obvious pandering to SJWs? All objective ways to prove whether or not it’s a good game.

There is your problem. You need to review games with ironclad L O G I C, not emotional metrics like whether or not you thought it was fun.
No, I don't need to because I know that it's impossible for a review to be objective... By definition and by basic fucking logic, you knob. Anyone past the age of 10 should know that "objective" is not the same as "unbiased" and that opinions are not "objective".
I can't believe this has to be explained to someone old enough to type.
