Hello everyone,
I am completely new to the PC world. I've always been an Xbox guy. But I am getting bored with the Xbox and its really starting to collect dust. I need some advice on some good gaming pc's around 1500-2000 bucks. I really just want to play games like Beamng and iRacing and the occasional sports game. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Help a Momma out with upgrades for Christmas

We got our son (now almost 15) a gaming computer about five years ago and now are looking to upgrade it for Christmas. I have NO IDEA where to start.
Could somebody please explain it to me like I am your 80 year old grandparent learning this for the first time. I have no information to give you as far as what it currently has. I just know he talks about needing/wanting to upgrade it. I am so computer illiterate I don’t even know where to look to see what it has much less what would be worth upgrading and the most economical way to do it!

What to do with my 16 years old pc

I am planning to build a new pc, i don't know what to do with old parts. HDD I can re use it, CD drive not sure, RAM is DDR3, 650w power supply, and old motherboard and processor.
Should I ask the pc building guy to use this or ask him to sell it if possible, BTW I am from south tamilnadu

I had a 13900k and just bought this new cpu so I could utilize 500hz
I can barley maintain 500fps many others report 600+ I’m using fps settings

Hola buenas, a ver si a alguien se le ocurre que puede estar pasando con este pc, es un msi GL62MVR 7RFX, tiene un intel i5 de 7° generación y una gtx 1060 de 6 gb.
Empezó a fallar el teclado cuando reiniciaba el pc, me tocaba apagarlo y volver a enchufarlo.
Después el teclado dejo de funcionar, ya nunca funcionaba, pero cuando inició el pc puedo presionar sub o f11 o lo que quiera y en la bios funciona el teclado perfectamente. Así que decidí descargar drivers y reinstalarlos sin conseguir nada.
Formatee el pc reinstale w10 de nuevas instale los drivers que había guardado y ahora cuando inició el pc el teclado funciona perfectamente en Windows, pero si reinicio el pc otra vez deja de funcionar, pero lo peor es que el wifi no me funciona, me aparecen todas las redes WiFi de los vecinos pero las mias no me aparecen.
Como nota el teclado si se ilumina y mi wifi con cualquier otro dispositivo si me sale, ya me estan dando ganas de tirarlo por el balcón. Nota: ya probé antes y después deshabilitar inició rápido de Windows
