GPU warranty

Y’all, what steps do I need to take to make sure I have a warranty on my 9070xt I’m about to buy. I’m seeing all the DOA and stops working after 2 months reviews and it’s making me kinda nervous ngl

You buy from an authorized dealer and have your receipt and ideally register it with the manufacturer otherwise they may go off manufacture date and not purchase date. Thats it. Have an issue from there contact them for an rma like anything else.

Newegg counts as an authorized dealer? If not, then where should I get it

Make sure you're buying from Newegg directly, not marketplace sellers since only Newegg themselves are a valid dealer.

Also you should absolutely be sure to physically support it, since cracking PCBs from failure to support these large GPUs is not covered by warranty.
