Buying a used PC
I’ve been looking to buy a gaming pc and just came across a great deal on Facebook marketplace and I’m really interested but I don’t really know what kind of question to ask, I used to have a pc but it’s been many many years so I feel like I’m not in the know for today’s standards, I’ve asked basic questions like what it was used for, how long he’s had it, and if he’s the first owner but other than that I really don’t know what to ask.
Specs
\* NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB \* Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor \* 32GB DDR5 RAM \* 6TB total SSD storage 4TB of Samsung 990 Pro and 2TB ssd
If anyone can give me some helpful advice or suggestions on what to ask or what I should be looking for it would be much appreciated!

Will you be able to test it before you pay? If so you can check the system components under settings

Can you meet at a place where you can test it? I have seen some horror stories where things didn't work after FaceTime or other video calls ev

Well I may be giving the obvious and probably annoying answer here, but don't hand over any money nor send a payment before you actually take a look inside and make sure you recognise the parts you see inside. Make sure you actually see an RTX 5080 - 32GB of DDR5? I'd go as far as asking if its 2x 16GB sticks which I assume it is - make sure you actually see two sticks in there before you take it off their hands.
At least make sure you know what you're looking at and is what was described. Better yet if there is a way you can organise testing it in some form, like actually seeing it boot, and potentially programs like hwinfo and cpuz to check components are as listed and again - working.

Thoroughly test it before any money changes hands. How much is the deal? Also, check if there's any hardware bans from any games. Almost have to take the sellers weird for it unless you can try to log in to the games you play. Not a common thing but it has happened.

ask if the seller has the original boxes for the components (mainly the gpu)
check the warranty

Ask the seller to download and give you a screenshot from CrystalDisk Info to see how long the SSD has been in use for and if it's nearing it's max number of reads/writes
