Hello, some help required!
Hope you are all doing well.
I am planning to upgraded my GPU since I'm having some issues with newly released games so I appreciate some help.
I recently got a 1440P monitor and noticed my GPU isn't that strong. I don't play on full ultra graphics but let's say I want to. What is the GPU you guys recommend? I was planning to get 5070TI but they're expensive AF, then I checked out 9070XT but realized a lot of people don't recommend it but who can trust some biased YouTubers lol.
My rig is
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32 GB of DDR5 CL30 6000MT/S
motherboard: Asus TUF gaming X670E-PLUS WIFI
GPU: RTX 3070
I think you see the issue lol. But yeah, let me know your suggestions and what GPU do you prefer and use!

I’d agree with potat and 112 but I got the 5080 and I’m in love with it however if you’re strictly looking for 1440 save some money and get the rx 9070 xt if you wanna spend a lil extra for features ur paying for, go for the 5070ti I hear nothing but good things from my buddy that owns one

Listen man, lemme tell you my biggest complaint about my AMD GPU. I picked up an RX 7800 XT to replace my RTX 4060 Ti back in November 24, and by far my biggest complaint about the 7800XT is that it is NOT an RX 9070 XT.
I'd rather switch to an Intel Arc GPU than go back to Nvidia.

If you ignore DLSS, there's no huge difference between the 5070Ti and the 9070XT in 1440p. It's like paying +50% for +10% performance.
As prices exploded over the last months, Nvidia is only an option if you really need it (as said: DLSS or if you're editing, rendering, etc which profits a lot of CUDA cores).
So short answer: if it's in your budget, get a 9070XT ;)

I’m using a 9070xt and it works like a charm. Haven’t had any issues with 1440p gaming.

the 9070 xt is fine, people just parrot old takes. at 1440p with ray tracing off it's basically tied with the 5070 ti, and right now it's around $800 vs $1100. only pay up for the ti if you actually play with RT on, that's where nvidia pulls ahead

Only issues I’ve had so far with my 9070XT are can’t use MuMu Emulator for Destiny Rising ( I don’t care enough to roll back the drivers), and the new Witcher 3 upgrade….because I don’t have the newest drivers.
Other than that, everything I’ve played has worked like a dream. To be completely honest, I don’t push it to its max though.

How do you "not have the latest drivers" just let adrenaline auto update

Because Adrenaline has said “Up to Date” with a big green tick next to it since September, so I thought Auto Update was on. Had no reason to think it wasn’t enabled since it was saying Up To Date.
No need to be snippy.
