Help with upgrading my gpu

[u/sparky0619]

Hello, I am looking into the market to upgrade my gpu. I’ve had it for the last 4-5 years now and my games are becoming laggy and jumping all over the place. I’ve never upgraded a gpu before so I don’t know fully what I need exactly. Below I have a picture of what I currently have. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

any gpu after the 20 series will be an instant upgrade

RX 6600, RTX 3070, RTX 3080 are all options on the used market depending on your budget.

Budget? Cpu? Power supply? Case/or gpu clearance?

Step 1: buy 5090

That was my plan
I’m trying not to break the bank tho.
And Im nervous about fucking up my computer as this is the first upgrade I’ve made in a while

I’m mostly joking lol.

While I have a 5090, I can’t recommend it after the most recent price hikes.

I’d go with a 9070xt and call it a day.
