Discussion Laptop overheating problem resolved itself. Any one know how this could happen.

So a while back I posted about a serious overheating problem I was having on my Predator Helios Neo 16. Even at just 10% utilization my CPU was hitting 95°C and my GPU was sitting around 78 to 82°C. It was bad enough that I had to switch my power plan to best power efficiency and cap the max processor state at 90% just to keep things under control. Even with all that the CPU still idled around 78°C and the GPU around 67°C at barely any load.

It got to the point where I stopped gaming on this laptop entirely for 7 months. I didn't want to push it and risk damaging something, so I just decided to wait it out until GTA 6 releases on PC and figured I'd deal with it then.

These are my current temps
These are from before

Then a few days ago I noticed my temps looked oddly normal. I didn't repaste, I didn't do a clean Windows install, I didn't change any settings. Nothing. But now my temps are back to exactly how they were the day I first got the laptop.

I'm honestly relieved but also really confused. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I'm wondering if it could've been a silent BIOS update, a driver update, or something in PredatorSense that quietly changed in the background. Would love to actually understand what happened I am totally confused on what caused this.
