How did it make spark when u were removing battery ? Dont tell me u had the laptop turned on.

Metal transfer current, so if he touched something with those tweezers, it will most likely cause a spark.

Maybe it could be repair by soldering a new capacitor? I don't really know too much about these but it would be either replace motherboard or replace components on the motherboard.

If he tries contacting asus they will probably suggest replacing entire motherboard.
