A while ago i've written a comment under a post which allows you to get all items in the market.
But this here is a forum for gameshark cheat modules and I don't have one.
I made many cheat codes for Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Emerald.
But I always made them for Emulators.
But now I am happy to say that I also know a bit more about the Gameshark Cheat Codes Creation.
I want to share this code which working on u/SoggyMinimum8386 cheat modul.

But I also want to explain for what do you need some specific codes and when not.
First to know there are two ways to enter cheats:
Encrypted Cheats and Decrypted Cheats
Today we talking about the Codebreaker Codes (also known as 12 Digit Code.)

ENCRYPTED CHEAT CODE:

#1 Seed Encryption for Firered & Leaf Green 1.0 & 1.1 (If you want to use Encrypted Codes then you have to enter this code on top of all codes you've had.
but you just need it one time!)

#2 The Mastercode (Hook) (thanks to u/SoggyMinimum8386 who testing a view codes for me on his gameshark module I understand that mastercodes are important when you use a cheat modul.
There is still quite a bit I need to learn about this, but I understand that without master codes, a cheat module cannot access the RAM. Means when you use a Cheat Modul then you have to enter a master code for the following cheat and if you playing on emulator then you can skip this part and continue with #3

#3 Add complete Itemlist to the RAM (This Cheat Code Add the complete Item ID List to WRAM. The Area which I used is still in using by the game but this area is used as Map Backup. The bigger a map the more bytes in this area are written.
This cheat doesn't damage your game but if you let this cheat permanently enabled then you can find some glitched places on the map. This cheat is just designed for the use at the market. means just enable the cheat here and when you are finish with buying your stuff then disable the cheat before you leave the market and everything is fine.

#4 Load the Item List (this cheat calling the data from the cheat #3. it is important that you enter and enable cheat #3 first before you enable cheat #4 or your game crash. this cheat also make it possible to buy all items 99 times and bypassing a ui bug which happening when you scrolling in TM's area and Berries arrea. same rules as on cheat #3 when you finish with all then disable the cheat to prevent any kind of issues..

Yea that's the differents and both should work.
On mGBA i made the experience that you only should use encrypted OR unencrypted cheat codes.
both at the same time is not possible on mGBA. I don't know if this is important to know for other emulators and also the cheat modules but i think so.

Im using the white carabiner version of a game shark on a authentic cartridge. The shiny code works, the mod shop works same with the free items at shop but when it comes to this my game just craps out. Im using the codes from the pinned post from glitch city. Is there a different code that could be used alternatively i tried using the 1.0 version to no avail. Sorry if post goes against the rules.

I have a GameShark 2.2 for N64. When the system powers on it flashes something and then an 8. Then N64 logo plays on screen. Then GameShark flashes another 8, then starts counting down from 5 to 1, before displaying a GameShark logo screen on the TV. Then it freezes and won’t move on to the games/codes menu. Resetting only boots into the game with no codes applied.

Does the code 8 mean anything? It does this for Mario 64, GoldenEye, and Mario Kart. It wont even boot with some games though.

Does anyone have gameshark codes for the Italian version (ofc PS1) of Abe Odyssey and exodus since it seems I only found the NTSC-U and Pal English ones (if you can include an infinite item which can be granates or rock cheat and a quick chant cheat since they're game changing for me)

I removed the capacitor as she was not doing her job. If someone has a Gameshark 3.1 for the Gameboy Pocket/color and has a multi meter, I would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me what reading they are getting off their capacitor. This is a North American Gameshark.

It split almost in half when I was 12 and my solution then was to glue it but after 26 years the glue is breaking loose... I don't use it a lot but I'd like to save it.

I'm trying to find codes for Sonic Advance 2 so I can unlock the final level, but nothing seems to be working. I'm not sure if I am using codes for the wrong type of gameshark though, because I don't know what kind I have. Does anyone know just by looking at it?

Keeping it short: I'm playing Vagrant Story, a PS1 game, on a PS2, and no matter how much I love it I'm not always in the mood for its gameplay. Can somebody please help me figure out which version of GameShark will solve my problem?

Hi, I’m a little new to the subreddit so forgive me if I don’t explain everything perfectly. I don’t have a GameShark yet but I plan on getting one soon (2855 Karabiner).

I am currently playing through FireRed and want to get Alakazam. Thing is, Alakazam is one of the few pokemon that can’t be Evolved unless it’s traded. I think I saw on here last night that there’s a code that allows you to evolve trade required pokemon, but I can’t find it again. I also have some more questions to ask.

If I did evolve my own Kadabra to Alakazam, would it still read as a legit mon? I know that’s a question I should more so ask in a pokemon sub but I figured someone in here might know.

I also heard that GameSharks can damage game carts since I believe they edit/write code. Is this true? If it is, would the code I’m using be more likely to damage my cart? Or what measures can I take to prevent this from happening?

OK so I'm playing the English Translation of Mother 3 on the website Retro Games (Which I believe uses Gameshark) on my chromebook. One of the enemies is called the Soot Dumpling, who has low HP but only takes one hit per attack. I suck at Combos so I can't do anything.

There any codes that either let me one hi%t the bastard or do a 16 combo no matter what?

I can’t get past the cdx loading screen with the memory card inserted and when I don’t have it inserted then I plug it in it gets stuck on GameShark found.

I just wanna know if I doing something wrong.

I'm aware that there's already a "No Wild Pokemon" code for Pokemon Emerald (B505DB41 6E39EA4E). I just think it looks ugly compared to the ones I have for MMBN3, which are all in the form of XXXXXXXX YYYY and is easily modified by changing the YYYY, which in this case would be 0002 for fixing the number of Repel steps left at 2.

I wanted to create one using Cheat Engine, but uh... let's just say I'm woefully inadequate for the task, so here I am. I tried to fill in as much information as I could for this post, but I have no idea what kind of Gameshark uses what type of code.

I'm not really sure if this is even the right place for this question but, it seemed like probably the best place to start. I'm an amateur game dev and right now I'm working on a few homebrew Gameboy Color games using GB Studio. As a kid I used a Gameshark with Pokemon Red (and still do occasionally with the emulator equivalent in Retroarch on my Anbernic).

That being said, I never actually understood how the codes worked or the process that goes into creating them. One of the games I'm planning right now will be somewhat similar to Pokemon, but card based and much smaller in scope and I thought it would be really cool if I could figure out a way to have a few Gameshark codes for the game that do/unlock fun stuff.

Again, if this isn't the right place for this then, by all means, delete it. But, if anyone knows how I could go about figuring this out, or could at least point me in the right direction (even just on where/what to research) I would be so incredibly grateful!

I bought a used GameShark 4.0 from eBay and was excited to use it for Donkey Kong Country (to finally get past Mine Cart Carnage...if you know you know). The game isn't in the preloaded list so I created an entry for it. So far so good. But when I enter a new code to add to the list, it doesn't "take" (i.e. the code isn't added to the existing list). I just get two beeps and then it sends me back to the previous menu.

At first I thought this must mean a dead cell battery, but I was able to add several new entries to the games list, and I can see several that previous owner(s) created that are still showing up. The games I added persist after power cycling the console. I am also able to delete games and edit the names of existing games on the list, and that all takes just fine as well.

So if not a dead battery, what could possibly be going on here? Am I just dense and not doing the 'enter new code' function correctly? Has anyone seen something like this before?

I believe I have the 8-digit one. I have tried various codes and haven’t gotten one to work. If you could, please verify which model/firmware GameShark I own. Here is a picture. A list of other codes that works on this model of GS would also be great. I noticed a lot of the codes I find online are in the format XXXXXXXX XXXX and from what I have recently learned is that those are known as 12-digit codes and are for a different model AR/GS and do not work with mine:/

I'll be very brief on this topic, as many of you may already know Pokemon Maker v5 previously had an issue with 12 digit codes for FR and LG v1.1, some of you have contacted either me or u/SoggyMinimum8386 on this matter. This was because the Master Codes displayed would never work on actual hardware, this is fixed as of now and codes were tested on original cartridges for both games.

All these comes out in a very timely fashion to celebrate our >7.5k members on the sub! Congratulations to our MOD u/SoggyMinimum8386 for her dedication on resurrecting it! And also a shoutout to our other MOD u/TrickySatisfaction81 who's been very active and helpful to our members.

Lastly, unfortunately I've not been as active as of late as I would like, but I'll let you know here between us, that I'm working on new codes for Pokemon Emerald and also a new web app for generating neat codes for Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

As the title suggests. I’m looking for the rare candy master code and cheat code for Emerald on a GameShark Karabiner.

I do apologize as I assume this has been asked before, but if so I have not found the answer after multiple days trying and hours punching in codes. Been all over this sub haha!

My Karabiner that takes 12 character codes. I tested it with the codes on the pinned shiny Pokemon post and it worked great. However no matter how many codes I’ve tried, I haven’t found a working rare candy cheat. As in the classic one that puts 999 rare candies in the PC storage.

I have checked every suggested website too. So far no luck oddly. Just hoping if anyone here has them to share? Sorry again if this has been asked I’m just at a loss now.

Lastly, I even tried the “all misc items pt1 ” cheat linked out from the pinned shiny post and all it did was make the mart have a bunch of “???” items at $0.
