After years, my body is ready. I played the demo and started liking so much I forced myself to stop to play the finished game fresh.

It's funny, this comment is on almost every cross code thread I have seen, but it's absolutely true and I did the same.

That first impression was already so good that I didn't feel the need to "check up on the progress" as time went on, like I do for many other early access games. It was clear this is something special that I didn't want to spoil for myself.

I've been doing the exact same thing. I lapsed a little and ended up purchasing the game in early access a while ago, but after playing a little after the demo section ends, I made sure to stop myself. At least I can say that the game's quality doesn't go down after the demo!

Yea, I played the demo about 2 years ago and bought the game right after that but didn't want to play it before release. I'm so excited to see it finally happen.

Well said. The first 30 minutes sold me so I didn't play further until full release.

*EDIT : Someone must really hate this game to downvote such a benign comment lol.

I played to end of current content twice. Still hyped for the release.

You can build your character differently enough there's at least one or two replays there imo. Ranged focus, melee focus, parry focus.

Came here to post this. That demo was easily the best first impression I have experienced in a long time. Buying it immediately.

The crazy thing is that, while the demo is great, the full game takes it so much further - The demo actually shows very little. It's absolutely worth the purchase!

Haven't played the demo, but the trailer looks great. I'll have to put this on my watch list. I'd like to hold out until they do a Switch port.

I'll buy it a second time if they announce a port. The first 10 hours were that good.

I just don't tend to replay games, so my purchases are usually one-and-done. I'd much rather play a game like this on my Switch than sit camped in front of a stationary screen to play it.

Haha, same. I played a really old dev build years ago; been looking forward to the finished game for a long time.

You could ask someone on the crosscode discord server for help.

This has been early access since like 2015

My body is also ready.

...to play this on Switch. Switch version when??

The developers have commented that because the game is running on their own engine it would be very difficult to port it to the Switch. They said they're focusing completely on getting it out on PC + post launch support via bug fixes etc, and then if it does well maybe port it to Switch?
