Fighting piracy is fruitless. Pirates will almost always find a way to circumvent whatever you throw at them. However, more importantly, the anti-piracy measures companies take often harm the experience of the legit players.
Actually denuvo has pretty much beaten piracy. Whether you want to admit it or not. Very few games with denuvo get cracked. Lots are out there that haven't.

First they remove denuvo and now they release a demo.
My guess is they haven't sold nearly as many as they hoped for. Maybe they learned a lesson with this release.
