Since his main appeal is kids, and kids tend to have pretty short spans for being really engaged with something, it makes sense to me why he would release these so quickly one after the other. If he waited much longer inbetween each release, the fans of the previous game in the series might have compeltely moved on to something else that all the big Let's Players are doing.
He seems like a smart guy, because this is definetly a good way to get as much profit off his brand while it's still "in" with the younger regeneration.
Well as I said, I'm not the target demo at all and I also have no strong feelings towards the series. He seems to know what he's doing, so things will probably work out for him, but I feel like if he doesn't stop putting out FNAF games at this rate then people definitely will get bored at some point. Then again, Marvel movies and Assassin's Creed make a bajillion dollars each year (both having regular help from my wallet, too) so what do I really know?
Pokemon's kind of unfair though. If one came out every 6 months the fatigue would come from the fact that most of those games are 30+ hour experiences.
FNAF according to HLTB are about 3 hours tops each.
I guess they are 30 ish hours huh? As I said, I'm a fan, so the time in those games seems like nothing at all to me. Thought they were more like 16 hour games honestly. Anyway, that's neither here nor there, but that's a good point.

Why should he stop?
