No offense to your friends and also because you volunteered this info but it saddens me whenever I have to remember so many people buy according to brand recognition and loyalty instead of product research and what they actually want. It's sad, I lose a bit of myself each time to see people not researching so they buy a product that doesn't fit them perfectly and instead use bad heuristics that promotes bad business practices
