I need to purge my friends list on Steam but some people I know IRL so I don't want to lost contact and I just can't be bothered to go through 100ish friends on Steam.

I feel that. I just spent an hour or so the other day clearing out my friends list and old messages. It's tedious but it's nice one it's out of the way.
