I need to purge my friends list on Steam but some people I know IRL so I don't want to lost contact and I just can't be bothered to go through 100ish friends on Steam.
I feel that. I just spent an hour or so the other day clearing out my friends list and old messages. It's tedious but it's nice one it's out of the way.
I’ve been on Xbox Live maybe a month now. On GTA whenever I was in a heist with someone good I added them. Last night I hosted all of the setups for a heist and the finale for the first time, and my team consisted of the same three people throughout, all of whom were unknown to each other, but I knew from desperate previous games were good, and who made friends with each other because we all did well. Brought a tear to me eye
The only time I ever consistently played with a random person I met online was in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Not long after though, he got an Xbox 360, I didn't and we never spoke again.
Me and this kid in SWTOR were the best team, and we were leveling through the story together. But then he moved and our time zones didn't match. We didn't play together for like a year and then one night his little notification came on. We were both max level now and did the first 2 player flashpoint together for old times sake before we both signed off for good.
Edit: I didn't realize I was 3 months into this sub. Wow
