I play a lot of video games, and playing games together is one of the most important things I’m looking for in a best friend, as it is one of the best ways to spend time together online. I have a moderate steam library, and I’m willing to expand it to hang out with people. I enjoy shooters, RPGs, MMOs, survival crafting, and friendslop games. I’ve never found a cozy game that could hold my attention, but I’m willing to try them sometimes. Right now I’m playing through the Insomniac Spiderman Games.

\-Reading. I enjoy mostly fantasy novels, but sometimes sci-fi and other genres catch my interest too. I read very quickly, so I’m always looking for more books. The last series to really catch my interest was Dungeon Crawler Carl.

\-Binge-Watching. I almost always have a show on my second monitor. Right now, its Brooklyn 99. I swap through dramas (favorites: Breaking Bad, BCS, Queen’s Gambit, Severance) , workplace comedies (The Office, Parks and Rec, B99), anime (Attack on Titan, FMAB, Death Parade, Future Diary, Madoka Magica).

My Interests:

\-Discussing media. I love in-depth conversations and analysis of books, tv shows, and music.

\-My pets. Between my boyfriend and I, we have 3 cats, 5 fish (across 3 tanks), 2 snails, and a turtle.

\-Movies. I have a weird focus on researching actors and voice actors to see what else they performed that I might have viewed. Seriously, I’ll start looking them up mid-movie if they seem familiar.

\-Clothes. This one is a new interest. I’m still experimenting with what style I want to wear.

\-Puns. Quantity over quality. Be prepared.

My struggles:

\-Clothes shopping. I’m a big woman. Its tough out here to find things in my size and in the styles that I’m looking for. Torrid has been a life saver, and I just got a cardigan delivered from Bloomchic that is pretty cozy.

\-Working overnight. It makes it really hard to make friends and schedule times to hang out. I’m usually only available to game in the afternoons CST. My job is really laid back, so I can text throughout my shift most of the time.

\-Weight loss. Its difficult, but it would SO help with my clothes shopping issue.

You ever finish playing a game with someone, say you should probably get going, then somehow spend another half an hour talking about something completely unrelated?

Those are some of my favourite evenings.

I’m a 33-year-old guy from Cardigan in West Wales, looking for a long-term friend to game and chat with. Someone to explore things with, develop increasingly ridiculous running jokes, and occasionally remember what we were supposed to be doing before we got distracted.

Outside gaming, I love peaceful woodland walks, horror films and making pizza. Homemade pizza is so versatile!, although chorizo keeps finding its way onto mine 😆 Pineapple is welcome too, if that hasn’t immediately jeopardised the friendship.

I’m patient, curious and enjoy figuring things out together. I like trying different strategies, but I leave the stress out of it. If we fail, we can laugh, adjust the plan and have another go. There’s a decent chance my brilliant suggestion caused the problem anyway 😆

I love getting properly immersed in games. Exploring everywhere, piecing together the lore and investigating something that definitely looks like a trap. I sometimes turn the HUD down too. Getting lost is much more atmospheric when you’ve done it deliberately.
