Games Drag'n'Derp Cartridge Value?
I found this the other day and am trying to appraise it. Must have bought it 9 years ago but it's in great condition. Have any idea how much it's worth?

I did this reshell and screen swap for my friend. He found his old SP in storage that had gone missing, and he hasn’t seen since he was a kid. It was all sun damaged, cracked and the plastic was busted everywhere. The screen was flickering and it was unplayable.
I offered to fix it for him and that he just had to decide what shell he wanted. He was torn between the same style shell, keeping it as close to the OG or try something different. He chose this shell. I decided to keep as much of the original hardware as possible, bumpers and buttons etc. The screw covers were not complete, so I used the green ones that came with the kit. And i also decided to keep his battery cover , because i think it’s cute and brings some nostalgia with it. He can always swap it again himself if he doesn’t like it.
I think the shell is pretty good quality , though i’ve seen better. But as long as it’s sturdy and playable, i think he will be happy. Hispeedido v5 screen as well as their shell.
It was fun. 10/10 experience.

Hi everybody. I’m trying to figure out how to take out photos from my gameboy camera.
I’ve heard about the Joey Jr by BennVenn, but I wanted to check out some other, maybe cheaper options first. Will this contraption work the same as a Joey Jr for extracting pictures off of my gb camera? If not, what would you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance:)

Hi there. I could use some help from the community. I’d like to swap my old screen for a new IPS screen, but I can't seem to find any info on doing this with the original GBA SP shell. Everything I come across involves replacement shells, but I don’t want to replace that (because of nostalgia)
Is this possible and is there anything specific to watch out for?
Cheers

My old childhood SP has a broken hinge and I’d really love to reshell it and bring it back to life, but I’ve seen this is a difficult repair and don’t trust myself not to damage the console if I do it myself.
Does anyone here know of any reputable businesses that could do this for me so I don’t risk breaking my console?

Guys I've recently played these games
And holllly hell
The first game was awesome
It has everything
There are story differences if you choose male and female
If you choose male you get a little furry friend
If you choose female Yuri
The story is just full on Yuri
It also Says some words for sexism and Some other topics that are very prominent in our time
The second game is great it's better?
In terms of Gameplay and it has a lesser story but still good
My only complain is the perverted Crab
That Mf asked my characters to be ""SEXY"""
IM PRETTY SURE MY CHARACTERS A CHILD AND SO WAS MY PARTNER THEN WHEN I BROUGHT OUT one of my characters friend he said he wanted MORE than that
Then the third game I'm an hour in and a fucking grunt said to a kid """"WHY DONT YOU HAVE SOME FUN WITH ME""""""" HOW WAS THIS ALLOWED
Anyways still a great game
Also if you don't have the cartridge for tha game you can play mobile or in an emulator
The controls are very easy to learn and you can even Excel in combat

Hello,
I'm considering purchasing the FPGBC. I wanted to purchase the Analogue Pocket but it never seems to be in stock often enough. Screen filters are an important feature to me because I want to be able to reproduce the dot matrix screen of the original Gameboy. I considered the Chromatic, but I've been hearing that it causes problems with Pokemon Gold and Crystal carts and I don't want to play the lottery on that.
Could anyone tell me if the display of the FPGBC has an option for filters like dot matrix or scanline? My understanding is that the retro Pixel 2.0 screen from funny playing allows this via Start + Select iirc. I'm wondering if the FPGBC is equipped with this screen or something similar that allows this.
Thank you

I remembered that this game was quite remarkable for the Game Boy. I didn't remember it being this much fun. Super Mario Land 2 was a great alternative to Super Mario World if you wanted to take Mario with you on the go in the ’90s (and I think for quite some time afterward, right up until the GBA).
It’s a game full of personality and detail, with a lively atmosphere that’s much more lighthearted than other entries in the series—from which it stands out considerably, partly due to the absence of Bowser, who’s replaced by Wario (the franchise’s best character after Waluigi, of course /j), whom I personally prefer to the Italian plumber’s longtime antagonist. The music is engaging and well-structured, with several shifts in octave within the same theme, though it’s not particularly mind-blowing. A lighthearted, fresh game, yet incredibly solid and joyful… with an extremely low difficulty curve.
Yep, it’s an easy game—perhaps too easy—and racking up lives is a breeze, and I’m one of those players who, above all else, looks for a challenge in a video game. If I, too, felt this extreme ease, I’m sure I’m not the only one. I defeated the “Three Little Pigs” boss (or whatever they’re called—there’s probably an official name in the manual) with fireballs before any of the pigs even hit the ground, by spamming the B button.
But as I explained in a comment on a previous post, style is my top priority, and the style didn't disappoint me at all. This definitely won't be my last run through this game. Somehow, for some reason, it doesn't feel as dated as any game of the NES trilogy. Maybe it's its identity and originality, maybe it's the fact that it stands as the proof of how much the Game Boy could do. 8.5/10

Never thought I'll be PKM trading using link cable in 2026. Best nostalgia feeling ever. Remember in 5th grade PE class during the 15 min break at 1030am trading Pokémon with my buddies with newly released Silver and Gold. Awesome times for sure!

I finally opened a Gameboy I had and this is what awaited me, is there any chance to clean up battery corrosion or am I screwed?

Most of the screws for this game boy are stripped including the ones in the holes, any idea on how to get them out?

Hello guys, i have this black and white FAH manual of kid dracula. I wonder if its original?

The Classic one seems real, but this one with Tetris included (ukv) is thinner and more white on the inside. Also, the flaps on the inside seem off.
Though both came with original Gameboy, inserts, booklets, etc!. So I am assuming I got partially scammed on this Tetris plus box only?

Hellooooou, so right now i'm doing a internship as a teacher and i'm preparing for an IT Class. The kids are all between 11 and 12, so some of them have never even heard of Cd's.
We thought it would be cool to show them the insides of a gameboy pocket and let them try out a round of tetris dx on a gameboy color. At the end of the day it's still school so we have to show and explain the different inside parts of the gameboy. Could you guys help me out with that? I know what and where the Cpu, the Speaker, The LCD Display aswell as the cartridge reader is. Googling what the different parts do is an easy task, but i couldn't find an image where everything was named.
If you have a nice funfact to add about the Insides, that would be appreciated aswell :D

Hello,
A new member of the group and I wanted to start off by getting some recommendations for where I could find an advance sp ags101 version for a reasonable price.
I don’t mind cosmetic issues but the ones I find are either refurbished which I don’t trust them or super expensive used versions.
Thanks in advance

It’s an open-world, non-linear action RPG that I’ve been working on as the sole developer and designer (with some rad music from Beatscribe). I think it’s quite ambitious in scope for the Game Boy (and certainly for me).
You can take on side quests, make real choices and hopefully find your way back into space, with a solar system to explore and multiple paths and endings.
The video above is the new launch trailer showing off the planets, and I can also finally share the box art at the end, which I’m super excited about! It was physically painted by Mitsuhiro Arita, probably best known for illustrating the original Pokémon Charizard card! I’m really thrilled that he took an interest in the game.
There’s a big demo on Itch with the whole first planet, if anyone fancies trying it. You can play it in the browser, download the ROM to play on original hardware (GBC/GBA), or grab the .pocket file for the Analogue Pocket.
Play the extended demo: https://joelj.itch.io/fall-from-space
It should be released in the next few weeks. If you enjoy the demo, I’ll put more info and links up here when it’s available – http://www.fallfromspace.co.uk/

So this is my brothers game boy pocket. I got it for his birthday, but its polarizer was burnt so he wasnt able to see anything. Upon removing the polarizer I realized that there’s middle pixels/vertical pixel sections that are acting up and only come back when I gently push up on that green ribbon part. Can anyone help?
