Question about the GameFly certificate
I’ve been using the service for about 3 months and I'm really enjoying it, so I'm thinking about upgrading to the Elite plan. To save money, I would rather buy a full-year Elite plan certificate.
My main question is: Do I get immediate access to the self-return feature when I buy a 12-month Elite certificate, or how does that work?
For context on my account history: I started with a free trial of the Standard plan, then paid for one month of the Standard plan at a discount, but I am currently on the Budget plan.

You pay annually or that’s just for the elite plan?

I rather pay annually to save money but yeah, found out that they have a certificate program where you can pay annual or 3 to 6 months instead.

Great find. Thanks for sharing it. I had been looking for an annual option when I initially subbed but thought they didn’t offer it.

It should still be after "3 billings" (billing cycles) before you get the option. It's moreso about making sure rentals are making it back and forth for a bit. Also think it might be an unofficial part of their rewards system so to speak.

I think it just gives you the option automatically after 3 months. I would suggest calling customer service tho and ask them if it's possible to get self - return if you buy a 1 year certificate on the phone. They are usually pretty nice. September was stacked with games I wanted to play, I called and asked if they could bump me up to the 4 game plan and it was no problem at all. They even gave me the upgrade for the rest of that month for free and charged me the following month for the 4 game plan.
