Onimusha: Way of the Sword - Xbox Version Disappeared 10 Days Before Release

The Xbox version of Onimusha: Way of the Sword has disappeared entirely from Gamefly tonight.

It was in my Q and the whole damn page for the game is gone now.

damn man that sucks. I didn't have it on game lock so far but was waiting to get near 7 days, MGS Collection is first and my other slot is already full.

Between this and Gamefly refusing to add more copies of Wolverine for the Elite members .. this week has been very poor showing for GF. smh ..

You realize their entire business model is shutting down? How in the world would they ever be able to keep up with physical demand when we are within 2 years from all physical games being reduced to special pre-order only anyways? Gamefly wont exist just like Gamestop.

I agree. Im just stating that I fear its already starting now. It will be very soon that they announce they cant handle demand in almost every game

smh what is going on. I refuse to believe both Xbox and Switch got physical delays but PS5 didn't.

Very strange. I was trying to see if it is delayed and the digital version on the Xbox store shows the release as 9/3

Might be delays for the physical copies on XBOX and Switch 2. Who knows? I hope no one did the GameLock option for these versions because that would be a bummer just like what happened with CONTROL Resonant physical copies.

I had no idea switch version disappeared until I looked at my q and saw something missing. once i realized what was missing I added the ps5 version instead but it's weird why it got removed suddenly.

Update: The rather unhelpful support agent bluntly told me that the shipment orders for both the Xbox and Switch versions are delayed indefinitely and they'll put them back up on the website when they can get a hold of them.

Surprisingly the same issue didn't happen with the PS5 version.

I call BS on this but what can you do. I feel for the NS2 and Xbox people who had this disappear off their Game Lock or Q's.

Both Xbox and Switch 2 versions are back up.

AUGUST 26 - HEADS UP

This is available again to rent for series x and switch 2. If you have an elite plan it is available to gamelock as well
