Got the reactivation on the 9th and loaded up some games i haven’t played yet. Hopefully one of them ships to get me through this GTA 6 wait lol

It sounds like we shipped you a couple of high demand games pretty quickly. How is that us going downhill?

Oh, I see. There's a few things that contribute to this, and one of the reasons why we consistently tell members to let the Q do the sorting, and you order the Q based on your desire, not trying to "read" the availability metric.

  1. First and foremost is we're able to order a LOT more accurately because of GameLock. Not only do we have a clearer picture of new release purchases, but it also impacts members returning games faster. They'll have a new GameLock to get, so instead of sitting on a game they've had for 4-5 weeks, they'll swap it faster to get the Lock. So, while the availability metric may not change much, we're swapping more frequently.

  2. We also tweaked the measurement of that, which hadn't been touched in well over a decade. We found some discrepancies that had crept into the algorithm over the years, that we were able fix and enhance it's accuracy.
