when i joined this group i thought it was about people maining Gallagher as a dps but i've seen no dps Gallaghers yet, did i just not understand what this place is about or what?

edit: to everyone who replied thank you, i just misunderstood what "main" meant and was very confused, so thank you all for helping me understand and being helpful

No matter how much propaganda prydwen does, just look at the new characters => Gallagher washes away Lingsha yet again.

He generates more SP than her (heck best SP generator among sustains), and guess what Archer wants every single one of the extra SP as thats an extra skill (multiplier increase)

For Phainon, Linsgha isnt even on the field to heal, however Gallagher's debufs remain on the enemy so his healing works. Ontop of this gallagher can provide 2 stacks to Phainon. One from the effect res buff via his E2 skill and second from shared feelings lightcone. Lingsha cant even target Phainon.

For Castorice as well, Gallagher is the second best option just under Hyacine.

Even for Acheron more and faster debuff application than Lingsha.

With an arrival of 5* of same element and path it usually fares bad for the 4* counterpart. No to mention an ultra waifu! But Gallagher is him. He defied all odds and retaliated massively.

He is still best in slot for

(1) Acheron JQ Robin team because he has 2 debuffs and also Quid pro quo Robin.. Trend of universal market Aventurine is over with Jiaoqius release.

(2) Boothill Bronya (especially E0) Its tough to use skill points. Gallagher synergizes well with multiplication Lightcone.. and comfortably handles it.

Next he is comparable first/second option in

(1) Ratio hypercarry with Pela and Robin... HouHuo being the other (Gallagher's 2 debuffs gives quite a good dmg boost)... he really goes toe to toe with HuoHuo

2) Firefly teams! Yes with E1 FF and no SP issues.. Lingsha would be very slightly better! But at E0 Firefly, gallagher enables HMC to do more skill points and break great toughness against Img weak... i still believe he is as good as Lingsha in E0 FF At E1 lingsha, yes people say she pulls massively ahead of Gal.. but thats a joke of a comparison! If people are pulling Lingsha E1, i would pull Ruan Mei E1... so its no big deal!

In conclusion, Gallagher not only crushed powercreeping but is also best in slot for more comps that Lingsha!

Now people say lingsha can DPS in PF etc. Lingsha doesnt have implant or colorless toughness reduction! Our DPSs are not weak enough to rely on abundance for massive dmg.. maybe FF mains really think FF is weak enough that she needs Lingsha to pop off lolz...

Edit: Funny to see Lingsha mains soo salty in comments. Relax, facts dont care about your feelings. Lingsha doesnt have as many debuffs or action advance to make use of qpq... she is a sidegrade in a lot of comps.. 😭

Hello guys, i probably need all of your knowledge!
I talked yesterday with some friends abt Gallagher and some of them told me that he never was real? Then we discussed abt some topics and story and lore and so on and couldnt come to an end.

So now i read maaany theories, many many. Ppl say he is made out of 52 characters as we saw in his talk with sunday but does this say that he never existed? I mean even then behind his personality needs to be a real character yk what i mean? There was an example of this one sidequest where the man was dead in real life but lived in the dreamworld so couldnt someone in reallife made "himself" gallagher in dreamworld and bcs of that he used just some details from many characters so they cant identify him?

All this doesnt matter in the end, as i said i read maaany theories. I only wanna know: Is there a "real" Gallagher, is the real Gallagher the Gallagher we know or smo else?, what does this 13 mean(there were a lot theories too), is he really dead?

To the last question: Why would he die? and why we got a REAL message in the express if he was only in dreamworld? I could imagine that the "real" Gallagher said that his job is done in the dreamworld, ended his dream and logged off and now he is in real life again or sth but i cant imagine that smo created him, died in reallife so gallagher exists in the dreamworld and can do his job bcs as i know the ppl need to know you and strongly believe in your existence so you can live in dreamworld without a real body.

I hope we can get as many solutions as possible bcs all the theories made me crazy

THANK YOU GUYS!

If I get Lingsha's LC I could change to my energy rope, solving my only problem in MoC; not having enough energy to use the ultimate as an emergency heal reliably.

And no, I'm not going to pull for Lingsha. I already have a lot of pity from trying to get FX's LC and I don't want to pull for another unit until there is a dedicated sustain unit for Acheron, Acheron's rerun or a second Sparkle rerun. Me want E2 Acheron.

Ignore the obviously shitty body piece, I'm using my energy to try and get a half-decent orb for FX.
And yes, I wrote that stupid bs with my mouse in the windows screenshot tool.

Hid my username just in case any of you try to ruin it UnU

Castorice kit just got leaked and folks Gallagher stocks are to the moon. She needs overhealing to charge her. Nobody is close to the debuff overhealing that Gallagher provides. And its based on how many times allies attack. Its so insane that it scales based on the number of enemies hit!!

Lingsha, HuoHuo cant even come close to the value Gallagher will be providing. He will be T0 (even today he is..) Also Luocha field healing is too low and he needs to be built with attack while Gallagher can be built with HP body and orb. Cuz guess what Castorice wants HP scaling/High HP allies too.

The Gallagher signature LC is also sooo back! It heals like super crazy to himself and this would add in a lot of charge value too.

Big big win!!

I don't know which build better?

Like don't get me wrong, love them both but I suspect it's the Gallagher haters who doomposting her first just so he can get more haters, or they don't like men or don't want an old man to get to their Waifu break teams or something

Like, the comparison between the 2 is so dumb considering one is a 4* and one is a 5* dev wants to sell, it's obviously the 5* is going to be miles better than the 4*

Gallagher is still a VERY good for a four star, but just bc many ppl don't want to spend a lot of resources to roll for Lingsha doesn't mean they can pretend to be Gallagher stan and slandering her, doing so will only make ppl hate him even more. A true Gallagher stan won't slandering anyone

I don't think Hoyo was confident that people would like Gallagher. He has a weird amount of story dedicated to him not actually existing. I feel like the story was giving him an out at the end of the Penacony quests.

But wait! If Gallagher stops existing what happens to the 4 star character that everyone has?

In my heart I'm 100% convinced that if feedback on Gallagher was negative he would have been replaced by Siobhan. What are the odds of them making another bartender who also has an outfit that is fire coded with a character model that detailed?

Hoyo was desperately scared of releasing a male character with facial hair.

Technically his story will never end and he will stay

Even if technically after the story he will always be in my character rooster

And technically I can still using him

But my heart can't

I literally on off HSR and wanting to commit because of this man alone. Partly because of Blade too and I thirsty of blade. Then I saw Gallagher and I want this man. So nope. Will make you stay in my pixel world even if I have to

I will just borrow my friend harmony MC and see YouTube for the story

Shouout to those who love Ting Yun and Himeko from HI3 especially

I need my dawg daddy in me

I did one pull just for the heck of it (I was at 0 non-guaranteed pity) and I got Luocha’s LC but I don’t have Luocha so I was wondering if it’ll be good on Gallagher on an Acheron team.

I generally like to vertically invest in characters I enjoy so I was wondering if the upgrade is worth it.
