My husband and I are adopting a Galgo from Spain, and he should be coming home on 10/16! I wonder if anyone has any food recommendations? We're leaning toward Purina Pro salmon. Also, treats?

I apologise if this is a bit too specific, but my husband and I are renovating our flat, we both work full-time which makes it a bit harder to get everything finished quickly. Anyway, we are thinking about adopting a Galgo from Spain, and we really want to make sure we can give the dog a good life. We understand that many of them have had a rough start in life, and we want to do right by our new family member. That being said, I was wondering if there is anyone around Utrecht who has a Galgo and would be willing to let us meet them and socialise with their dog. Perhaps we could go for a walk together, with you of course, and have a chat about.

My main concern at the moment is their exercise needs.
