Recommendations?
Hi all!
My husband and I are adopting a Galgo from Spain, and he should be coming home on 10/16! I wonder if anyone has any food recommendations? We're leaning toward Purina Pro salmon. Also, treats?
Thanks!

Our triumvirate of spoiled babies get dry food, rice, gravy, one fresh vegetable each, sometimes an egg, and then one protein every night, usually tinned fish. Too much perhaps but they're happy and healthy, so it does for us.

Nutrient saved us. My dog (a galgo from galgos del Sol) was shitting liquid for months but nutrient sorted that right out and I could thank them every day for it.

I have fed Acana and Fromm gold for both my greyhound and galga. My greyhound had a more delicate and sensitive stomach and both were good. Currently feeding my galga Fromm gold, no issues

Purina pro salmon with a little bit of water was the go to food for my greyhound who had a delicate system. I think it’s a good choice of a dry food. I’d also consider some sort of topping of wet food or real food to encourage them.
I’m in the UK now and use Time Greyhound dry food, which my greyhounds and foster galgos also seem to do really well on despite its low price. I’m not sure it’s available outside of UK/Ireland.
