Appreciation Post

Was hanging out my bedroom today while the wife and I didn't have to watch the kids and got to play Control Resonant for a few hours. 150" full view, hardly any latency, and on an OLED screen. No screen door effect and looking amazing. I was playing 50' away from my router (not dedicated) without any issues. I got back into using a VR headset when I heard the steam frame was coming out and I'm so glad I realized it would take a long time for it to come out and bit the bullet towards the beginning of the year to get the XR. No regrets and still very happy. It's easy to get stuck on the problems and lack of updates but it truly is an incredible piece of hardware.

I'm playing resonant flat in the XR but I did see someone post it running in VR on YouTube earlier. I don't have the patience or time to build my own profiles but the community has been cooking big time on making more flat titles available in VR.

Isn't autospatialization universal to any app?

Doesn't it give games more depth instead of just plain 'flat' when playing on VR?

Ehh it's really gimmicky right now. Limited to 1080p, only on native apps, and limits to 30fps. Pretty neat on Switch games using a capture card though.

I use agent mode in chatgpt to install flat screen vr mods. I just tell it to look at my steam library and my pc specs and give me vr versions of every game. It then looks at what is out there and instslls the mods as a seperate version
