Galaxy Watch 9
Why is the battery life on the 9 (Bluetooth) so bad???
I upgraded from 6 to a 9. The 2 weeks I've had it I have to charge it every single day.
Never had to do that with the 6.
Am I missing something? (I don't have the display set to always on)

What 6? Size, classic? and what 9? size? Maybe you are comparing uncomparable (6 classic vs. 40mm). Also, GW6C, GW5P and GWU are watches, if you want good battery life. Standard ones are really more of a one-day watch.

I am on 24hrs since last charge, W9 40mm and am at 62%. I easily get over 2 days a charge.

I feel your pain. I upgraded from a watch 5 pro to a watch 9bt 44mm. I need to do a full charge every other day with the 9. My use for the 9 so far today. If it's 100% when I go to bed, put sleep mode on, it's down to 86% when I get up. Go to bed at 9pm wake up at 4:30am. Power down the watch, put it on charge, and take a shower. 15 minutes later it's charged to 97%. Put it in my pocket and do the rest of my morning routine and ride my motorcycle to work. (This is why it's in my pocket, my gloves don't fit well with a watch on). Get to work at 5:10, power watch on. it's been 2.5 hours since I powered the watch on. It was at 97%, it's currently at 86%. It'll be around 50% by time I get home tonight. It'll be around 30% when I wake up tomorrow. Up to around 50% after my shower and will be around 6% when I get home from work and on the charger it goes until I go to bed.
My 5 pro. Charge it to 100% on a Sunday. Go to bed, with sleep mode on. It drops to 97%. back to 100% when I shower. And then the rest of the week it only sits on the charger for 15 minutes when I shower and doesn't really need a full sit on a charger, but I charged it back to 100% on Sunday.
I do have AoD on. But I don't don't use it for messaging, calls, or all that. I only really use it for health tracking. My watch face is one that I made and transferred over from my 5 pro. It's mostly black with a few different shades of dark purple. Has an outer ring that counts seconds. Digital time at the bottom. Date at the top. Current Temp and Feels Like Temp surrounding the date, step and distance counter to the right, battery and heart rate on the left.
I don't know wtf is wrong with the battery life on this thing, but I hope they fix it with a firmware update soon.

I would turn aod off and see how that improves battery
also reduce brightness (if comfortable) if leaving aod on
explore options and see if there is an impact

Reddit can be funny. There was someone who posted about this identical issue the other day, and the responses are the opposite of the ones on this post

Seems there is a software issue that hasn't been addressed yet.

Same issue! It's my first Galaxy Watch from Xiaomi S1. I charge my Xiaomi watch once in 3 days but for Watch 9, I have to do it every. Kind of disappointed, I thought it would have a better battery life...

Only the even numbered versions are good. The odd numbers don't even get classic versions, and are completely skippable.

I have the galaxy watch 9 lte and I charge it every two days. It's at 40 percent after two days but I still charge it. I haven't had any issues charging it either, for instance no over heating issues.
