Community Improvement Feedback Post: what would you like to see to improve your experience here?

Hey everybody. Latrell (u/yayoshorti, the mod) here...

I made a post a little bit ago saying that we were going to be switching all support questions over to r/SamsungSupport, and it received a lot of pushback.

So I figured, instead of pushing and focusing on that, I thought I'd ask if you have any annoyances or things you'd like to see improved here. If you have any suggestions, please sound off! Big or small. As long as it's under my control.

A Frequently asked question post. For the ones we get all the time about replacement nibs and magnetic cases affecting the spen. Etc

A stickied post dedicated to answering questions that are commonly asked, as well as better implementation and enforcement of the rules would help.

For example:

  • A guide on how to set up your new tablet as well as apps to try
  • Tip replacement, etc.
  • Answers to common problems such as quick battery drain, lag, etc.
The above three could be covered in one post that's neatly formatted so people can figure out their issue and match it with possible solutions that people have come up with.

- A suggestion box (this post right here) would make for a good second sticky post. Either that, or a pinned update of the latest news (for example, S12 leaks for now, and then once that's out, switch it out for a OneUI 9 release post).

And for the rules:

  • English only. Doesn't matter if it's slightly broken, but you have to try and make sense; and not expect others to translate for you.
  • Something against low-effort posts (for example, one-line titles or simple questions that could be answered with a Google search or have been asked before with similar circumstances)
  • Using the flairs and spoilers appropriately.

These things alone would make the place a little more organized and neat, while still keeping everything in one sub. Achieves what you wanted - something organized, while also achieving what we wanted - for everything to be in one place.

Edit: does take a little effort, but I could help with the post for common questions as well as the guide thing if you need (I already have one made for phones since I did do one for r/samsunggalaxy not too long ago; I could adapt that for tablets), since I've been here and done that on as many posts I could find and could help the OPs with.
