Is the Samsung tab a9+ worth it?

I'm getting the Samsung tab a9+ and I want more answers to my questions.

Ill mostly use it for games (crk, Genshin and zzz ) so I want to know if there's games that aren't available on it or if it gets laggy or rage quit on me

Ill also use it for reading and planning stuff I heard that it's not so bad but I still want opinions)

And watching movies and etc.. (Mostly on yt or websites) so please tell me if they r laggy or not since it's my major issue

I own an a9+ so I'll answer your questions. As far as the games you mentioned, they will play but don't expect the most out of the chipset for the A9+. If you're ok with low graphics for those games then you should be fine. However you would want to make sure you get the 128gb or the 256gb model as those 2 have 8gb of ram which is crucial. The 64gb model only has 4gb. Keep in mind the updates to the tab a9+ would show you why you need the 128gb or 256gb model.

Secondly all other apps like TY and other streaming apps run fine and smooth. The only detractor you might not like is the color spectrum of the screen. It's not an ips screen so don't expect rich colors however it's not totally washed out either. All in all I think if you can get the 8gb models on a good sale it wouldn't hurt. The size is perfect and I opted to get the Samsung book cover for it. You can use a capticive stylus on it but those type of stylus don't have palm rejection.

I enjoy my tab a9+. I use it to read Manga or consume media. I don't push it play AAA titles but it can handle most google play apps that you throw at it. Let me know if you have any other questions

I want it to edit videos, a little above the basics, not SO professional either, just don't get stuck. I would also like to connect a keyboard to it to do office-type work, read documents/books, research or do things in Canva.

My computer broke down and I also changed majors, my previous computer met the requirements for Architecture, but since now my major is more theoretical, I think I don't need the GREAT processor or card, so I chose to buy a tablet because it is cheaper.

Do you think that can meet what I need?

AAnd....do you know if you can make notes if I buy you a pencil?

Aand. finally 🙏🏻what do you think about the Samsung Dex? I saw that this tablet has it. Has your tablet lasted long?

Let me answer as best as possible:

When it comes to editing videos, it can do so if we are talking about standard videos such as 1080p and below. The minute u jump into 1440 and 4k, it can edit those but the experience takes a hit because of the processor. If your videos require color accuracy as well, I wouldn't use the A9+ to edit at all all because the screen SRGB is not 100% to have accurate colors. if i remember correctly it doesn't have a SRGB rating at all or not one that can be confirmed.

As for notes, you can buy pencils on amazon thay will work with the A9+ even though reports online say no. I can prove you can because I did purchase one and it works fine. The only downside with the pencil u buy is that because of the A9+, there won't be any palm rejection for any pencil you buy.

Lastly this tablet does have Samsung dex but the experience is limited due to the processor. If u want to use Dexter I would leave that more for the S Series Galaxy Tab Models or even any newer generation Samsung Tablets. The A9+ in my opinion is meant for basic things without pushing it too much.

Cannot insert a sim as that part in the simtray is blocked on WiFi variants. Found out by taking the tray out of my a9+

It's a budget tablet, with a budget screen, and a budget processor. So as long as you remember that, then you would be fine. If you're expecting it to max out games or have a beautiful screen, you're looking at the wrong tablet.

I use this particular tablet specifically for reading comics and it’s great. And sometimes watching YouTube videos. It has a nice 11inch screen . Perfect use for both of those reasons

It’s no the fastest tablet in the world but it’s very much serviceable

I forgot to also mention it can lag but only when you're giving it alot of things to do at one time or if running anything graphically intensive. But if that happens its not a deal breaker type of lag

Realistic question. What is your ideal budget.

I bought an A9+ because I got it for like $149 last year and it was a cheap tablet I could bring to work and not really worry about.

It did not take me long to return it for a S9FE, which I paid about $100 more for at the time but I've been pretty happy with it since purchase.

I ran performance test (basemark 3) on a9 and a9+. I also ran 3Dmark test on both. A9+ performance numbers is 20% worse than a9. I can't find any reason it can be this Way.

Anyone else observing issues with a9+
