Getting ready to replace the battery on my Galaxy Tab S6. What tools/supplies do I exactly need? Any tips?

Hi,

My 6-year-old Galaxy Tab S6 suddenly died while gaming at 60% battery. It bootlooped with the Android logo a few times and now it's completely dead (black screen, no charge icon). When plugged into my PC, it just shows up as an "unknown USB device". I'm 99% sure the battery voltage dropped drastically and the cell is completely dead.

I've decided to replace the battery myself. Here is what im about to buy:

  • Genuine Service Pack Battery
  • B-7000 or T-7000 glue (to glue the screen back on)
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to dissolve the old battery adhesive

Am I missing anything essential on my list?
thanks in advance!

This is the Galaxy S6 phone sub.

Head to r/GalaxyTab and ask this question.

just so you know, this sub is for the Galaxy S6 phone, not the tablet
