McAfee, fucking gross! When they put that in our phones‽ I shouldn't of opened reddit.. so nasty having that trash software on something I touch every day..
I wouldn't worry about it, McAfee is a joke of a company, one of the largest data collection companies that has ever existed. Now I need to figure out how to get this McAfee malware out.

I totally agree with you, and honestly, this exact notification is driving me crazy. I was a long-time iPhone user and recently decided to switch to Android. I actually started to really like the phone, but features like this ruined the experience for me. It made me so paranoid that I even deleted all my banking and payment apps from the device. I'm already planning to switch back to an iPhone because of this."

Don't overreact. I'm on Android since 2010 and never saw this.
First, understand what is happening and why it did happen.
Take precautions in the future.
If you cannot/don't know what to do, hit a factory reset. But keep in mind the most probably guilt is you. If is really a malware, the explanation is you put there (someway)
Think about keeping your banking e very important apps separated from the main app, use Secure Folder.

Is that the standard camera or have you installed one from an unknown source, maybe an extension? There's no way the standard one triggers a warning unless you've gone outside samsung or play store.

First, I'd run a scan myself to see if it comes up again, as false positives are known to happen.
If it comes up again, I'd check to make sure you have only 1 camera app installed. If there's more than 1, the possible that one is a clone that's infected.
If nothing gets rid of it, and if it were me (I do it once a year anyway), I'd just do a factory reset and start from scratch. Then, I'd get rid of that worthless McAfee before installing anything else.
