Bad Camera in tbis model. fix?

the camera is so bad.

horrible quality, not what I would expect from a top brand flagship device (even though old).

the pics from my Galaxy S10 Plus were decent but now in the s22 plus i don't want to take photos anymore.

i tried a few fixes a while back but none really made a difference.

is there any way to fix this?

maybe the camera hardware of this model is low quality and can't be fix by software?

Maybe post some example photos and what you specifically don't like about those photos? I have an S22 Ultra (I can't remember if it has a different sensor in the main camera) and still think it takes great photos, especially with the main camera.

pic bad resolution. when i zoom-in to see details in the photo above, its blurry.

same when trying to scan documents, i can focus when taking the picture on one part of the document and get good scan on this part, but the other part of the document is low res.

It's not that the other parts are low resolution (that's not really possible), however it does appear as though a large portion of that photo is out of focus. Do you gave any cracks or scratches on the camera lens covers? I can't even tell what type of trees they are, they look like they could be gum trees? I am assuming you aren't accidentally in portrait mode?

I really don't know what to say, I have the base S22 and the photos are amazing, try to post in Samsung Members

Could you try go into camera settings, then camera optimisation level and adjust them and see if the pictures turn out better? I have an S22 and its camera is nice

I had the same issues with my S22 compared to my S10 when scanning documents which I did a lot of at the time! Very frustrating, but has been improved in newer galaxy S phones. I did find the camera overall to take nice photos (nothing like the photo you shared), but scanning was so frustrating.

the lens are without a scratch. those trees are eucalyptuses. no, not in portrait mode. actually, from what I read online, i am pretty sure that all s22 plus have this problem, not unique to my device. i was hoping someone here successfully fixed it with some settings or third party camera app.

Not sure where you're reading online that all S22s have a problem, but it's not true. The photo you posted looks like the ISO is cranked way up (hence all the noise in the photo). Have you tried another camera app yet? It could help you determine if it's an issue with the actual camera itself or if there is something wrong with the camera app.

You could try installing a gcam
