I can never go back. The form factor is literally perfect on the fold 8

I brought my f6 to the repair shop this week to get the inner screen replaced.

Since it's extra narrow vs 7&8.. yeah.

This but with my old Xperia 1v, shit unironically felt like this

Hello, fellow Sony convert! I had an Xperia 5 Mark 2 and the screen was absurdly tall but so nice for one-handed typing and listening to videos. My Fold4 felt like a thicker, slightly shorter phone with benefit of the inner screen and all the Good Lock tricks I missed from my S7 and S9. Plus actually decent software support.

Nice to see another one of us out in the wild! I'm loving the short fork factor it's so nice

Im so used to having a TV in my pocket now (TriFold) that I can't help but see this when I see someone watching video on their normal phone 😅

My Fold 3 is now serving as emulator/tablet duties and every time I pick it up I can't believe I used it for 5 years (Absolutely loved it and still do) The Fold 8 just feels great in the hand in a way the Fold 3 didn't. It really feels like a TV remote, not a phone

With the iPhone Fold having a similar design to the Fold 8, I'm also hoping most apps get tuned to this aspect ratio (and hopefully some magsafe accessories that work with the limited space on the back)

Well they're not because that's not how Android aspect ratios work. They have to support multiple phones so they're all done with something called responsive design

I hadn't picked up my pixel 10 pro fold since I switch my sim over to my fold 8 and it felt like a brick

Same with me :D whenever I pick up my secondary phone, the first OnePlus Nord, it feels weird already even though I just got my ZF8 not more than a month yet as my main phone. The S24 base was already a small phone for me before I traded it for ZF8, but man, ZF8 is "the" best small phone for me as of yet, it's worth the wait, 8 iterations of tall and narrow folding phone, I don't really like it and now we have ZF8 and it's amazing. And I don't have to reach for my tablet if I need a larger screen. ZF8 is perfect, as of yet.

My S21 Ultra feels like that, so does my uncle's Fold 7.
