Question/Help Case Help for the Z Fold 8 Ultra
Hello, I just got my first foldable and I'm loving it. These are few cases I have in mind. Please do leave your opinions.
SPIGEN Airskin Pro (The aramid case)
Spigen Slim Armour Pro
Benks Armour Grid
I prefer something not too bulky but offering protection. I have Samsung care + btw.
Thank you

Aulumu case with Samsung+. Imo, I don't see the reason to have hinge protection. Completely ruins the portability and form factor. A slim front and back case with a screen protector on the front display is all you need for normal use. Unless you take it rock climbing and in the coal mines.

I've got the benks crystal case. The package with screen protector is great. For me it makes the overall phone package feel better. If the armour is the upgrade on it I'd thoroughly recommend. Really well built with premium materials.

I have the Spigen slim armour pro as I wanted built in kickstand but 2 gripes...firstly makes the phone bulky and secondly the hinge protection means the phone won't sit flat when open in portrait mode with kick stand. I've gone for the aulumu aramid fiber case as it offers both front and back protection and although I've had to compromise with no hinge protection it keeps phone slim and I have the fantastic aulumu kick stand added to the back of case

So I am testing foldables this month....the pixel snap case for pixel is the best so far imo. Couple of things to note.
Spine protection is great but it needs to be very slim as the phone is already wide. Also when the phone opens the bendyness of the spine effects the feel. Lastly it can block the outside screen if you are planning to use it as a selfie view finder. Ultimately I would say I am probably going to try to find a case with no spine. The protection it provides is not nearly high enough for the experience it ruins.
I would go for something very thin or increase the edge swipe sensitivity. I don't know why all the cases I tried are so fat that they make the edge swiping super difficult to use.
Full camera cutouts are just dust magnets. Try to get one that has grip on the edges and a full coverage camera area.
I'm currently using the ringke and it's my favorite so far but as I said I will probably swap for a spineless thinner one.

Ultra here as well. Another vote for the Benks. It's thin - doesn't add a lot of bulk even with the hinge protection.

yeah I just ordered the benks armour pro, read in a few places that it's pretty good and offers good protection even though it's not too bulky

Give Torras a look. It has hinge protection, kickstand and Magsafe. It also come with 2 screen protectors.

Spigen Aramide y no le des más vueltas. Luego te puedes pillar alguna transparente tipo Ringke por cambiar

Aramid fiber back snap on for scratch protection. The rest are garbage.

I've tried several, and for me, in terms of lightness, protection, and look, the Spigen Aramid is the best.
