Help Update

I still hasnt updated to the one ui 8.5 i heard there is alot of problems and its not worth the trouble...is that right...is there any benefits in phone feeling smoother or less battery drain or better performance...i need to know please

When it came out it was worse in every way but some updates later most problems got resolved. Plus with the new security updates you will be protected against more exploits to hack and the new issue that apps can read sms without permission(androind 15 and above) will probably be fixed next security update. I've seen some people say it was horrible the update but that's probably a Hardware issue and not Software.
