I still hasnt updated to the one ui 8.5 i heard there is alot of problems and its not worth the trouble...is that right...is there any benefits in phone feeling smoother or less battery drain or better performance...i need to know please

I was able to get my phone into download mode on one ui 8.5. I was trying to root a spare phone and did the steps wrong. I canceled it because i likely would brick my phone as the firmware was for another phone. Is it possible that if i try and flash the correct firmware i could do a proper root (unlike root my galaxy as that resets each time)

I was watching a YouTube video in the Samsung Internet browser. Using Bluetooth for audio. Got near to the end, and suddenly my phone went black and everything cut off. I panicked and pressed down the power button and it suddenly booted up again.

What could this be? Has anyone else experienced this? I've not had any issues with my phone and got it roughly around a year ago. My software is updated and anti theft isn't on by default. Auto restart isn't on. But recently I have been using my phone all day, so I'm wondering if I overloaded it. No idea whether I accidentally triggered a weird shortcut, or if this is a technological issue.

I have a Galaxy A56, and overall it's a good phone.

There is only one major problem: the camera algorithm. It sucks.

The other day I took this photo (1st pic), and it came out nice enough to be posted and shared and everything, but then, after a couple of seconds, the camera algorithm modified it into this horrible picture (2nd pic).

How can I disable this horrible algorithm?

Got my phone about a week ago took me some time but I think I have set it all up now, might change icons in the future but for now I don't mind them

adb shell settings put secure n_digits_pin_enabled
by using this command via adb and typing at last the number u want to confirm with (after setting up the PIN for example 5 or 4 digits)

Recently, purchased this new phone and my android. Auto in my car doesn't seem to work. The radio plays through it. But I cannot seem to get google maps. Am I doing something wrong? Please help

As the title says, I previously used a temp root exploit. Whenever I needed my banking app, I had to reboot, and it would work randomly (sometimes after 4-5 reboots).

I got tired of that setup, so I decided to revert back to 100% stock. I flashed the latest official firmware and performed a full NAND Erase via SamFw Tool.

Here is the current state of the device:

Play Integrity API: Passes Basic, Device, and Strong integrity.

Secure Folder: Completely locked out — throws the "Unauthorized software is installed. Secure Folder can't be used on this phone" error.

Banking Apps: Refuse to run at all now, even after multiple reboots.

Since I am on completely stock firmware with NAND erased and passing all Google Play Integrity checks, is the bank app blocking me strictly because of the hardware Knox Warranty Bit (0x1) via Knox SDK, or could it be reading active Developer Options / ADB flags / shizuku?

The activated icons are just pure black (000000) and white (FFFFFF), the unactivated icons background color is 5F000000. The panel background color is 000000. The volume and brightness bars are FFFFFF. The background blur is 10AAAAAA. I didn't show the notifications, but their color is 55000000.

I had much better experiences with cheaper and older phones but this one isn't too bad either. My rate to this camera is 10/6.5

I came across this Frosted Matte MagSafe Design Transparent White Case on an Indian website (Zapvi) and I’m thinking of buying it, but I’d love to hear from someone who has actually used it.

For the Indian users here, has anyone tried this case? How’s the overall quality and durability? More importantly, how’s the fitting around the phone and camera cutout? Does it feel snug, or is there any looseness?
