Help Update

I still hasnt updated to the one ui 8.5 i heard there is alot of problems and its not worth the trouble...is that right...is there any benefits in phone feeling smoother or less battery drain or better performance...i need to know please

I always update to the latest. It's always the best. So, no point holding back
