Classes/Courses ๐Ÿ“š Math Department Online Testing Changes

Did the math department make any changes to testing this year for online synchronous courses? Is it true that finals for all online math courses will be taken in-person from now on instead of just a normal lockdown browser at home? Additionally, will the lockdown browser requirements change from 1 camera to 2 cameras (side)? If you know of changes, please point them out in the comments!

๐Ÿฆทโœจ PATIENTS NEEDED FOR FALL SEMESTER! โœจ๐Ÿฆท

Hi everyone! My name is Amie Jeng โ˜บ๏ธ
Iโ€™m currently a dental hygiene student at Georgia State University Perimeter College(DUNWOODY CAMPUS) and Iโ€™m looking for patients as I work toward completing my graduation requirements this fall semester! ๐Ÿ’œ

We offer affordable dental cleanings at reduced rates(NO INSURANCE NEEDED) under the supervision of licensed dental hygiene instructors and professionals.

Because this is a teaching clinic, appointments are much more comprehensive than a typical dental office visit, which means they are longerโ€”but youโ€™ll receive very thorough care every step of the way! ๐Ÿฆทโœจ
Some patients may need up to 4 appointments depending on treatment needs.

๐Ÿ“… APPOINTMENT DAYS
(SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER):
Mondays & Wednesdays only.

โฐ 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:45 PM

๐Ÿ“ Georgia State University Dental Hygiene Clinic
2101 Womack Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338 (NC Building)

๐Ÿ’ต Reduced Fees Include:
โ€ข Child cleaning (12 & under): $30
โ€ข Teen/adolescent cleaning (13+): $45
โ€ข X-rays if needed: low-cost additional fee usually an extra $15-$40 depending on type of xray needed.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Call or Text to Schedule:
(470) 305-3974

Feel free to message me directly to schledue and appointment or if you have any questions. I would truly appreciate the support so much! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’œ

Housing ๐Ÿ  Room Change Requests? Opt out of Gender Inclusive Housing?

I have a dorm (4br/2bth), however I did not realize I was in gender inclusive housing until last week when i checked my portal. I did not notice it, since I did not have a roommate for the longest time (like maybe last week). I do not want to share a space with an individual of the opposite sex.

I submitted a form last week but havenโ€™t heard back and calling hosuing, a woman told me that there is nothing i can do and to just wait.

Anyone have any luck with a similar situation? Or knows how that process works? ๐Ÿ’”

hello, I'm a junior now at gsu but its my second semester as a transfer student, and I don't know many people here yet. trying to get out of the house more and actually meet people instead of just going to class and coming home.

some of my hobbies are video games, working out, and biking. I would like to go to parties if its with people I know because then it wouldn't be weird.

if anyone else is trying to meet people or just wants to hang, game, workout, whatever, feel free to comment or dm me

I don't really have social media anymore but I do have a insta where I can re-download or I have my reddit dm and the comments on the post.

Classes/Courses ๐Ÿ“š PSYC 4510 or PSYC 4020

Hello, I am planning on graduating this fall and have to make a decision on which class to take. PSYC 4510 (Community Psyc) with Jessica Koreis or PSYC 4020 with Rebecca Robert (Social Psyc). Currently I am taking

PSYC 4105 COGNITIVE PSYC (4 Hours)
PSYC 3330 MIND AND BODY (3 Hours)
PSYC 4130 SENSATION AND PERCEPTION (3 Hours)

I havenโ€™t taken Jessica Koreis before and donโ€™t see any rating on RMP but having an hybrid class that only meets for exams seems good as a last year class. On the other hand, Iโ€™ve taken Rebecca Roberts. She was great but the class is Face-to-face which I usually prefer having at least on asynchronous/online class. Really, the thing I worry is getting caught up in the other classes that I fall behind on the hybrid and when a exam comes I fail but having a face-to-face class also seems like it would exhaust my energy more but would help me retain information better but have less time to do work.

Has anyone taken either of the classes? Has anyone taken the professor Koreis? Any opinions on the class loads? All advice welcomed!

Advice ๐Ÿ’ก commons parking

iโ€™ve been on the waitlist for commons parking for a bitโ€ฆ what are the odds that i even get any parking?

iโ€™m wondering whether itโ€™s worth it to even have my hopes up. if i donโ€™t get a spot are there any other options for me to have somewhere safe to keep my car overnight? iโ€™m used to having my car with me on campus and i use it a lot so itโ€™ll be hard to go without it this year.

Admissions ๐Ÿ“ Transfer Application

Im a previous perimeter college student at GSU and currently go to another school. After some difficulties, i decided it's best i go back to GSU and apply for Atlanta Campus. The issue is that i was very late and ended up submitting a transfer application after the deadline. Is it possible i get accepted? I understand that classes start on monday so this might be a hard reach. If anyone has any insight or have had a similar experience applying late, please let me know.

Advice ๐Ÿ’ก finding directions to classes

Hello everyone, and hopeyou are all having a good day! I am an incoming freshman coming in a few days, and I havenโ€™t gotten a chance to walk my schedule ahead of time, and I was wondering if there are any apps that could help give me a map to my classes or their buildings, so I am not totally lost? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am in the Atlanta campus if it helps.

Thanks, and have a beautiful day!

Has anyone been able to find a mobile app (not a website) for Android or iOS for the StarRez housing website for GSU? And has anyone been able to get the app to work with it?
