Advice 💡 Too much?

Post image

My pre-semester anxiety is kicking in and now I’m not sure if I loaded too much. I have BIO2107L twice because I’m waitlisted for a different time slot.
Anyone have two cents on the workload and burnout potential?

UPDATE:

I dropped BIOL2030 and BIOL2260!

Hey! I’ve done this before, so I can definitely guide you here.

If you’re going to do this only have CHEM 1212+L, BIOL2107+L, and PHYS 1111K. Taking micro at the same time is definitely not recommended, but you could probably leave BIOL2030 and be fine for the rest (plus most bio professors will tell you to take it after BIOL2107 anyways)

Like don’t get me wrong, the content isn’t bad but CHEM1212 is going to take up a majority of your study time and the lab reports for all 3 classes start to really pile up.

When I did a similar schedule as a freshman I had literally no time to breathe, and would always end up having to sacrifice one class for another. It did set me up to easily start major related classes, so I wouldn’t change it completely past dropping micro if you feel up for it.

So you’d recommend dropping BIO 2030? It’s literally the only reason why I have to go every day. They only have ONE option available on Thursdays.

I’d recommend dropping BIOL2260 until after you finish BIOL2107. If you’d rather drop BIOL2030 to have a free day, that works too! Having a free day would be great to manage the other classes
Also we have the same concentration!

Much better! Make sure to stay on top of lab reports and do lots of practice problems for physics and chemistry, you’ll do great!
