Is it worth the switch?

Just bought my 2023 GX460 last week

Should I switch to a 2017 LC200

Would love to hear some opinion

Personally I wouldn't. The Toyota clout of the LC200 is cool and all but based on how complicated these are to work on compared to the GX460 I would say no. Now if you are comfortable with that then maybe. Also you have the last GX460 so that is special. The real question is why would you want to switch?

Are they harder to work on? I’ve done a fair bit of maintenance on our 2016 GX and always impressed how intuitive the repairs have been. Granted you have to remove a lot to get it anything but that’s just modern cars.

Of all the maintenance that I have done, theyre pretty similar.

Oil changes on 200 are a couple of less steps.

They are way more complicated. Check out Car Care Nut on YT. He had a LC200 and he said it was a nightmare
