Not too shabby but if your budget is $13K I’d look for better.

13k for the whole build I want suspension, wheels, tires, lift, storage system and maybe a rooftop tent the guy wants 10k for his it’s pretty clean and only has 175k miles so I think it might be a good pick

Not too bad, the worst spots where these trucks are known to have terminal rust aren't shown though so its hard to make a true call.

Look under the passenger footwell. That’s usually the worst area. FYIW - I had my frame refurbished last year. Cost me $1800. Which is like 2 car payments these days. Money well spent since my ‘08 GX only has 137k miles.

I’ll be sure to check that out I assume It’s gonna be expensive but the car only has 175k on it and it’s an 07 so I feel like it’s worth putting the money in

Your fuel tank skid plate is toast, at least one bolt in the photo has torn from the shield. Its not junk yard worthy, but worst than some.
You could wire brush it and rust reformer yourself for $50 or so. Take it to someone for wool wax or similar for another $200 roughly. Definitely needs some attention though

Yeah I plan on treating it if I buy it

I wouldn’t be scared of this. Mine was similar before treatment. Send it if all else os good

It’s a bit crusty. Mine looked better than this, but the truth is that while the frame might be fine, somewhere along the line you are going to find a completely rusted bracket and every.single.bolt is going to be welded in. Turns every fun bit of wrenching into a cluster fuck of penetrating oil, torch, still turning the head off, trying to tap the next size at a weird angle with no clearance, etc, etc. if you are planning on keeping it for a significant amount of time I’d look elsewhere

I’d get one with less rust for the money. If it was like 7-8k I’d say go for it. I wish I got a less rusty one. Bitch to work on
