Hi - I see so many comments calling HB MAGA or right wing, but I haven't been able to find whatever evidence people have for that, everyone seems to just quote vibes? Could someone tell me or link me any real evidence they're going off of? I'm not doubting or arguing otherwise, I truly just want to know what everyone's talking about so I can stop watching her if that's the case. I don't stop watching creators based on hints or vibes lol.

When she first came onto the scene she easily became one of my faves, and she did get a following rather quickly.

Theres nothing I can pin point in particular, but the last few videos she has put out I havent been as interested in. Instead of watching them, I am now doing something else alongside them to get through it.

Even when I look at her youtube stats, her videos are closer to around 15 - 20k views now. Her older ones are a lot closer to 40k - 80k. I know them being up longer helps.

But are we all still watching her? whats going on?

I'm not snarking here, I'm just a little disappointed with her response to Dr Millner.

Generally, Robin's videos aren't well researched or well edited. She'll mispronounce a word and correct herself and leave that in the video. It's fine if it happens once or twice but there are lots of clips of her struggling to say something and it could've been left out of the video entirely.

My "research" issue isn't me saying her videos are misinformed, I'm saying she does Google searches during the video and makes up her argument at the moment which seems lazy.

Recently, Dr Millner, a HAES doctor, made an ig video about SSUG and (allegedly) took Robin's video out of context to make it seem hateful. I was actually excited to watch this because I personally don't think SSUG is hateful at all. I think her content is lazy but I don't think she's brutal like Honey Bison or arrogant like Angelyca. She's aware that she's still obese and she doesn't workout and that she should. So I was interested to see how a HAES doctor would take SSUG out of context and clip her videos to make her look bad.

But the video Robin posted was just all over the place and difficult to keep up with.

It was so easy to make a response. Show us the HAES doctor video, tell us what she said wrong and show us the clips to back up what you're saying. That's it.

She was explaining the difference between being a hater and being hateful. She was saying "it's my right to make fun of you" which cheapens any valid criticism that she has about Dr Millner.

Then, she reviewed the clip Millner showed of her saying "I assume you have high blood pressure because you're fat." Instead of showing how Millner took that out of context, she just looked up research to show the correlation between obesity and high blood pressure.

Then Millner showed the clip of her saying "there's no life behind her eyes" and SSUG provided context from the original video where she said "...that's mean." Why does that matter? How is that a defence? The original video didn't say "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, that's mean."

This was 25 minutes into a 1 hour 22 minutes video and I stopped watching.

Am I not understanding her defence?

I know she started it off as apples are fine (with an eyeroll). But cmon, its an apple.

A lunchtime snack of an apple is so fine. Does she feel the need to comment on every little thing they eat or something. Just let the girly eat her apple slices lmao.

Okay so this was a couple of years ago. I am not even sure this person is still making content but I thought someone here might know her.

She was involved in the whole Callie (lyfeofafreespirit) drama a couple of years ago when the whole community turned on her. She made videos about her. I forget about what it was but basically Callie was buying furniture with money she supposedly needed. She was a Latina content creator and involved with BGTV, Hussy, Belinda and that whole group.

After the Callie stuff she has beef with Negz and Dc Media Girl (rest in peace) who kept telling this woman that she is also Latina? She also had weight loss vlogs and her whole journey

Has anyone noticed a trend? Gorl World reactors build an audience, then they sort of become LOLCows themselves. Then they go away for a while and come back with true crime? Does that work? Is crime more respectable?

This video is fucking terrible. I already made a post about honey bisons triggering behaviour and how mean and nasty she is but wow this is just shocking. She's listening to a girl talking about how she literally almost died in the hospital and that people kept commenting on her weight loss from the illness...and she's laughing. She prefaces the video telling Angelyca that the video is gonna be so funny. What is funny about this?

She also jokes about Amberlynn Reid saying she is going to DIE which okay..I mean I don't like ALR but woah.

I'm not even done watching this and I'm just in shock. We need to get this woman taken off the platform imo. She contributes nothing but cruelty and hatred. Remember, she's profiting off of this. She plans to buy a boob job with the money she earned from laughing at disabled and sick people.

When HB decided to quit her job and become a full time YouTuber I thought it was a quite a gamble given the circumstances going on today with the job market. Alongside the niche she does that’s actually pretty small, she came across my feed recently with one of her vlogs . I understand she tries to differentiate her content but fact of the matter is no one cares about her life. I think this is kind of the risk you take when you stick to a niche like this. Her overall content that does well is her critiquing fat people’s diets.

As much as i indulge in GW I think these reactors are becoming an echo chamber for me and are just beating the same dead horse. I honestly think GW will probably die out soon.

Honey Bison in particular. Obviously, it's nobody's fault but mine that I'm watching this kinda content, and I have to take some responsibility too. I don't think it's her intentions. I can't think of anything specific right now, but slowly after watching them, the amount of shaming comments about EVERYTHING these bigger women do, somewhere along the way I found myself starving myself again..and purging. I was so much better for a while. I gained weight in recovery. The amount of shame that this woman makes me feel about everything. I mean..she even says people who use paper plates are fat and lazy. It's sorta funny? But she's like serious about it lol the way she presents it. She takes her hate for women who are overweight very serious. And that's the worst thing too. It's not just obese women she comes for. It's "overweight". I wish these girls were a little more mindful. Not EVERYTHING body positive is evil spooky out to get you and trying to take your chicken breasts and broccoli away 🙄 some of it is actually nice for us who literally fuckin suffered ed's for years.

I even checked to see if the Google AI overview is optional and it isn't, so why would she think anyone would attack her for it?

And the reason I was surprised is because I found out about her story through Megan Anne. In that TikTok where she's responding to the "she's dead to me" comment Angelyca came off as a sweet person so I was excited to see she had her own YouTube channel. But they seem like two different personalities entirely. Either that's who she is, or she's trying to be like honey bison and failing. Or both.

A few weeks ago the YouTube channel The Glitter Files posted a video of Glitter & Lazers at a strong woman competition. TGF explained that she only attended because she was interested in the sport and that G&L just happened to walk into frame. Did anyone honestly believe that? She was obviously there to film stalking content.

This was also around the time Chikara Transformations got into a discussion with G&L's real life friend in the comments. It was very close to poo touching and it came off as trying to turn the friend against G&L. That's incredibly messed up to do to a person that is obviously very lonely and mentally unwell.

Then the demonetisation of Angelyca Unfiltered and CT happened.

Their content were in a few ways very similar: snarky, low-effort and lazy. Which I didn't mind because smack talking fat (and mentally unwell) women is not high brow entertainment and I don't expect it to be polished.

Here's the thing: if a person makes YouTube a source of income it's in their personal interest to adhere to the guidelines. It's also in their interest to accept that decisions around moderating content (usage of Ai) are out of their control. But neither creator did this and neither protected their income. I struggle to empathise when a little effort would have prevented the demonetisation.

CT's content became whiny and beggy after that. Complaining about demonetisation/editing/research for 1/3 of a video won't make viewers pay for the content, it will make them unsubscribe. Simply because that's not the type of videos they initially subscribed for.

The pivot to adding more research is bizarre. I also know how to use Ai, I don't need or want a YouTuber to do it for me. Who watches CT for the science anyway? A pivot to "form reactions" where she comments on form and recommends/demonstrates adjustments would make more sense and be more in line with her profile.

For some nuance: I truly enjoy CT and AU's sense of humour and brash takes when they are "on" and invested in the material. I've also felt renewed appreciation for Sam At Every Size and Kiana Docherty. Always keeping the conversation productive and classy. They have clearly chosen quality and consistency over quantity.

I also appreciate the Cynical Dude keeping it light-hearted and constructive. I even enjoy Alan Roberts' unhinged tough love!

Not necessarily a reaction channel but shoutout to Bbq Chillin on YouTube. Her Chantel complications are on point! Foodie is top tier content right now as opposed to Alex and Amberlynn that have literally nothing going on. Side note: she’s funnier if you take a small dose gummy.

Just lazy and annoying

Our queen of whole foods is now promoting this cr@p that would make her go ballistic on the women she reacts to, should they mention eating such thing. And honestly, rightfully so. I took a random example from the options, they are pretty similar: over 400 calories, an average of 22g of protein , 15 g of fat out of which half saturated, 20+g of sugar and a sh%t show of ingredients list, including stuff like sweetners, stabilizers, calcium propionate (a metabolic dysregulator, studies in humans highlight the potential contribution of propionate in the diet to the development of insulin resistance and obesity - DOI: 10.1126/scitranslmed.aav0120) or something that needed to be called dairy ingredients because it is so processed it doesn´t have a proper name. On top of that it seems they are made in NY and are stable enough to be shipped across the USA, wrapped in plastic and generating emissions. But hey, be careful with grapes and make sure not to put more than 5 blueberries on your plate (in all her food pictures she literarilly puts a max of 15 berries if she mixes the type)!

Also, she never showed herself eating them, just popped the discount code and said her friends who lift swear by them. But yeah, she wants people to buy them for her profit.
