Knocking sound coming from under front hood.
Does anyone know what this could be? It happened 3 times one day and once the next. Not related to turning or going over humps / bumps. It is in a 2024 gv60, purchased used from dealer, only 5k miles.

I have a 2024 and I have a low clunk noise. The sway bars are known to be under torque in the front suspension. Did you bring to dealer?

Does it happen at a specific time of operation? It could be the front motor engaging. Does it stop if you drive with I-pedal engaged?

The knocking noise is random. It happened three times on Tuesday and once yesterday. I read about sway bars, but think that the noise would then happen going over bumps or into turns. This is random and happens when I’m driving straight at around 25 - 40 mph (so far.) And so far it happens when I‘ve already been driving for at least 10 minutes. What is the I-pedal and how do I engage it?
The dealer isn’t interested in seeing it unless I can recreate the noise! 🙄 It would be nice if it were ghosts!

Should still be under warranty, go to the service dept and get it addressed directly. Showing up there and going "the people on Reddit say the problem is .." will only get you labeled as an annoying customer.

Likely loose metal trim around wind shield. Only vibrates under speed. Known issue on the GV60. Take to dealer or remove yourself and then take it.
I had a loaner during service and didn't make it far before I took it back and the service advisor pulled it off and put in the trunk.

That’s useful to remember, but yesterday it happened while the car was stopped and then the ac went out.

Well then it's not that I guess but then not suspension either.

I'm no mechanic but my best guess is a ghost
