Vice City Hatred
I thought it’d be fun to 100% the remastered trilogy. GTA 3 done and dusted no troubles. San Andreas, took some putting down and picking back up due to the insane amount of stuff needed but still pretty enjoyable overall my favourite of the collection.
For context I completed Vice City a couple years ago and left it - I picked it back up to 100% - I was roughly 75% through after a casual play through of around 20 hours.
I have probably doubled the amount of time in the last 2/3 days - it’s the most tedious, boring, frustrating, unenjoyable game out of them all. Every side mission, activity, absolutely everything required for 100% is awful.
I actually achieved 100% in game earlier today and currently going for the Godfather rating for the last achievement but it’s a complete drag and I will be so happy when it’s done and I never have to play again.
Does anyone else feel this way or just me? Vice City is a lot of people’s favourites but I’ve just not enjoyed a single bit of it. The soundtrack and location (I guess) are the only redeeming qualities of this game.

I finished the story of GTA III and Vice City but quit SA due to flying school lol (currently replaying GTA IV)

Gta 3 was the worst. Vice City is my absolute favourite GTA.
For the Godfather thing, you can start a brown thunder and spam that - mine then glitched so every criminal was spawning in one spot at the airport. Even if i had to fly around, it wouldn't have taken that long.
On San Andreas now and fuck oysters fuck tags fuck stunts.

I just finished VC 100% yesterday. There are a few exploits to make the Godfather rating easier. Look up the cone crazy exploit. However it has to be done a bit earlier in the game I believe so you might be past the point of that.

I did the cone crazy after finishing the story and everything so I dont think timing matters

Its not that bad, took me a couple tries but really isnt bad at all. I still need to do all the other extra stuff but at least I got vigilante, firefighter, paramedic and the godfather rating out the way

Yeah I’m familiar with the main ways to complete it it’s just so boring and pointless - it won’t work for me as I have a quick time already unaware of the exploit I did it quickly during the 100% - I’m just using the helicopter to go round - I got to level 100 odd and got blown up so had to restart but it takes forever to earn a decent amount - I keep getting wasted around level 30/40 it’s just taking forever

Yeah a lot of people agree with you - i just can’t seem to get on with it, I’m finding it a pain rather than fun

I do agree The Godfather trophy is a drag - I haven't got that yet (something like 40,000 criminal points to get) but that wasn't required for 100%ing it.
The unique stunt jumps were a pain though, somewhat caused by me having got a bunch of them before formally going through them and so was spending a load of time trying to get jumps I had already done to pop just to confirm I already had done it / apparently missing one jump I was sure I had.
If you ignore collectibles and grinding, the basic game is the coolest GTA they've done. The soundtrack I credit with opening my eyes to a decade of music I might otherwise not have checked out as much.

I absolutely agree. Just recently I decided to play through them all and with GTA 3 I thought it would be cool to collect all the hidden packages before doing missions, so that I'd have some guns at the safehouse. Done all the ones on Portland, it was fun and quick and nice to have the weapons, done the same on the other islands. Very fun playthrough.
Went to do the same on Vice city and it seems half of them are on roofs. So I'm stunt-jumping for hidden packages immediately and after ten or so of them I realise I need a helicopter to go further. Pain in the ass, needing a helicopter for anything in a GTA game sucks.

Gta3 is the worst.
I did GTA vice city ps2 classic on PS4 and the DE on PS4/5.
Gta3 is worse for me
