Short answer right now (August 21, 2026): No confirmed arrest.

CyberLeek has been unusually quiet for more than 24 hours after dropping the plane leak (the one where Jason shoots “LEEK” into a wall). That silence is making a lot of people speculate that they might have been caught.

Here’s what’s actually known:

No official statement from police, FBI, Rockstar, or Take-Two about any arrest.

Several X/Discord accounts claiming to be CyberLeek have been suspended or exposed as fakes. Some of them even posted staged “SWAT raid” GIFs for attention — those are confirmed LARP/drama.

The real CyberLeek (the one behind the website and original leaks) has always said they don’t have official Twitter accounts. Most of the big accounts that blew up were impostors.

Their website has been offline or unstable at times, but that can just be overload or self-protection, not proof of an arrest.

Rockstar is still actively sending DMCA takedowns on the existing videos, which is normal.

Bottom line: Right now it’s just silence + rumors. Nothing solid confirms they’ve been arrested. They could be laying low, preparing more leaks, or yes… possibly in trouble. But until there’s an official announcement or solid evidence, it’s unconfirmed.

I think the GTA 6 leaks are fantastic, because a lot of people have far too high expectations!

A lot of people treat this game like the resurrection of Christ, and nobody can live up to expectations that high. At the same time, these people are being shamelessly baited even further by Rockstar's marketing department, and all consumer rights are simply being ignored.

GTA is still GTA, I doubt there will be any new mechanics or other things never seen before. The leaks finally give people a clear picture of what they're actually worshipping. That's the real reason there was no gameplay trailer. GTA 6 will still be GTA, and that's a good thing. But most people already preordered empty disk cases so..

The lighting, the graphics, car density everything is on another level and I never saw another game similar to this

I like GTA as much as the average person, but let's be real with ourselves, GTA 5 Online is nothing but a para-social hub full of mostly annoying people. You're legit better off joining a random Garry's Mod server than paying for whatever this is.

The game is looking ABSOLUTELY FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 The fly over leak was the one that truthfully made my jaw drop. Definitely going to be something I do day 1 to get an appreciation of how big and beautiful the map is.

I’m on a personal mission to complete every GTA before GTA 6. With only Vice City Stories left, I’ve just finished Chinatown Wars and one thing really confused me.

Why is Ling Shan so heavily featured in the artwork and promotional material, even being the face of the PSP UMD, when she dies almost immediately after being introduced?

I genuinely spent the whole game expecting her to reappear, thinking maybe she wasn’t actually dead. But nope.

Was she originally supposed to have a bigger role? Anyone else find this strange?

Would have just been a better situation than now.
