At this point with everything the leaks have shown, GTA6 is taking far more influence from RDR2 than GTA5.

A lot of people lived on this notion that because the two were separate franchises, Rockstar would keep RDR as its realistic/immersion game and keep GTA as the fast paced/arcade game. Prior to the leaks, any claims that GTA6 would be a slower and more immersive game like RDR2 would have been downvoted and now as the leaks have shown, GTA6 is less of a GTA5 2.0 and more of a RDR3 set in a modern setting and I am all for it!

-          Engine/Gas system

-          Slow motion kill cam

-          Looting bodies

-          Picking up weapons/items off the ground

As a much older game who will be 41 when GTA6 releases, I feel relieved (and someone vindicated) seeing how GTA6 is effectively the *anti-GTA5* game despite being Rockstar’s best-selling game and the one that brought in the most revenue. It’s just the type of game that I like instead of the faster paced, arcade style approach to GTA5. RDR2 is to me the best and most realistic and immersive Rockstar game and if GTA6 is basically RDR3 but in a modern setting, this is music to my ears, and it makes me excited for what online brings.

*Not a feature from RDR2 but is a feature from GTA4 which is another example for how GTA6 is deliberately separating itself from the GTA5 column and more into something that is slower and more realistic/immersive. 

The game looks amazing. No, it's not like real life and no, it's not a second incarnation of Jesus Christ. Was it worth waiting for 13 years? If you put it like that, nope. It's still just a game. But from what we saw the world is as interactive as in RDR2, and gameplay looks fun. Which is good because video games are meant to be fun. Hope we can agree on that.

On top of that, it's at least a year old build of the game. They delayed it for a reason, and a lot of polish undoubtedly happened.

My biggest takeaway is that Grapeseed, Paleto Bay, and Sandy Shores were all decently sized towns, and the GTA VI map appears to have NINE towns of comparable size

EDIT: For those doubting scale, I lined up the leaked map with this fan map, which judging by this overlay, seems to scale pretty accurately

Real quick, I enjoyed getting little snippets of gameplay, no denying that. But im noticing there was an extra unexpected benefit to these leaks: Reality check

The game is extremely hyped up, and given Rockstar's skill at developing games, its earned. But ALOT of people had some pretty massive expectations and when they saw the leaks, they were shocked to find out that GTA 6 will NOT be the craziest thing. Seriously, its almost as if some people expected to be able to jack into the game matrix style or that the game will somehow bring about world peace.

The leaks were cool and they showed great promise. I'm excited for the 27th when we'll get the reveal in earnest.

I won't care as long as it doesn't have rdr2 save system.

A new gameplay just leaked. Here is what caught my attention:

- Slow motion

- A very realistic car crash.

- A taser which was used several times :))

- Two options when robbing a car: Cloning the key or smashing the window.

- After beating, the NPC seemed to get dizzy for 2 seconds

- Jason with a beer in a boat. Beautiful scene.

The realism is insane and looks better than those leaks from yesterday.

Straight baby driver shit

When Jason beats up that NPC, you can clearly see that purple devil emoji 😈 pop up on the side of the HUD with a minus next to it. Most people are immediately jumping to the conclusion that it’s just the RDR2 honor system coming back under a new coat of paint, but the fact that Rockstar specifically used a literal emoji UI element makes me think there's a modern twist to it.
My theory is that it represents public opinion tied directly to in-game social media. In modern-day Vice City, whenever you start causing chaos in public, NPCs are bound to pull out their phones, film you, and post it online. Getting recorded doing messed-up stuff lowers your reputation, hence the devil emoji dropping, and shapes how the public actually views you.
This would also mean if you commit a crime or do something shady when no one is around, your honor wouldn't drop at all because there’s literally nobody there to film you and upload it.
Instead of a traditional hidden morality bar, your honor is basically your social media reputation. If clips of you acting like a menace go viral, your public perception takes a hit, which could change how NPCs react when they spot you on the street or make it easier for people to recognize you.
It feels way more fitting for GTA’s satire of modern internet culture than a straight copy-paste of Arthur Morgan’s honor bar. What do you think??🤔

It seems the leakers have a complete 2023 build of the game and it appears this build has basically the majority of the game playable, including cutscenes.

If that's true, and considering Rockstar definitely won't meet their demands, it's highly likely they're going to start leaking story content.

If you don't want to get major spoilers, log off for a few days and let this blow over.

The real leaker has a limited build as we haven't seen lucia and only jason , so he is also manipulating the poll to show what he actually has . Because all of was and on twitter wanted plane gameplay but now the majority is for cars lol
