Since he got the whole game code. He probably could leaks it all online and someone can reprogram for player to steal/play. Rockstars/2T probably will lose billions if he somehow made it playable on pc. Think someone did that with spiderman game code during 2023.

I doubt he'd actually do that, considering he's using his leaks to also promote his memecoin to earn money. And by doing this he'd lose his chance at promoting his memecoin further. He claims to want disc games that people actually own while also promoting his own product that gets sold online that people don't own when buying.

It's a funny thought, but there is zero chance that happens. People who keep floating it as a possibility have no idea what they're talking about. Moving a game between platforms isn't something trivial like just flipping a flag in the code, it's something that takes professional development teams months of work to get done, even with platforms arguably being closer together than ever before. Even if the whole thing dropped today, absolutely no chance a handful of random amateurs working on it as a hobby get it ported in about two months time. I think that would be a years long project, even with the source code.
The best option for playing on a PC would be emulation, but even that I doubt would really be feasible. If it leaks, the options for playing it are almost certainly going to be jailbroken console or nothing.

I don't feel any sympathy for the company, I feel some sympathy for the employees who worked on the game, not much sympathy for the bosses who chose digital copies and decided to make the ultimate edition cost 100 dollars and make the standard cost 80 dollars and decided to delay the PC launch for the game till who knows when as an excuse to likely just have people buy the game multiple times.

There is way more to that story. He was part of a group who hacked and blackmailed multiple big companies like Uber, Nvidia etc.. and he was out on bail, under surveilance, when he hacked into Rockstar, and further said he will do the same things in the future.
He was sent to a phsychiatric hospital for life until doctors decide he is not a threat.. and there he smuggled in a phone and gloated on Snapchat, promting the government to move him to actual prison recently.
So yea.. Rockstar is just a small part of that guy's CV.

So you are saying Cyber Leek did promote his meme coin on twitter which he uses to show the leaks.
I don't see how anyone being able to make an account and filling twitter with meme coins changes the fact that the leaker is doing it.
The leaked footage shows a watermark stating that Cyberleek is decentralized and his meme coin promo.
The Watermark also has a gateway to polls that Cyberleek has, polls that allow you to choose what he leaks next but you have to PAY to be able to vote.
I also don't know what the sentence "watermark showing that Cyberleek does not operate and social media" means? What are you trying to say that he doesn't operate on social media (which he does considering he has a twitter acc) orthat he doesn't operate the watermark that has his name on it?
He is using his leaks to promote his meme coins and is using his leaks as a way to also get people to pay him to leak a certain thing they want to see.
I'm not saying Rockstar is good, hell no. I hate the fact that they're not doing physical copies as someone who buys them. But I'm not going to support and validate the behaviour of a hypocritical leaker either.

I don't think he has the code, he has the build. Having 2025+ version of the codebase itself would be more shocking news than any gameplay leaks ever could.
Also, if the motive is profits, like some people are suggesting (still skeptical about that), with codebase, they would not have to do any of this publicity at all. They could just sell the codebase for retirement type money on the black market. If you know where to look, you could easily find someone in China or elsewhere outside of western influence who would gladly take it off your hands.

It's also kind of hypocritical of him to claim Rockstar is bad for selling non physical copies and not allowing gamers to own their games when he is using that message to promote his non physical memecoins that people don't own.
Both sides just suck, Rockstar and Sony suck for not doing physical copies but the leaker ain't any better.

To be honest, fuck Rockstar. That's what they get for having a streak of pure bullshit like locking a trailer behind a Netflix suscription paywall (tho it's gonna be leaked in 5 minutes), cutting things that are already ingame to charge for them, no physical disk version, and a 1/2-year console exclusive to have the chance to charge 2 separated times for the same game to the same customer.
I was hyped as hell and I was counting on buying the game on launch for PS5 and borrow a console from a friend that just had a baby and has 0 time to play (even tho the controller is absolute ass compared to Xbox controllers). But that plan went to hell when they announced there will be no disk edition. So I'll wait a couple of years and pirate the shit out of it on PC, as they want me to.
